Fatherhood, the truth that no one wants to see, speak or assume

2020.09.17 20:49 Asantos1234 Fatherhood, the truth that no one wants to see, speak or assume

For some common years of being interested in DNA testing, I have always been fascinated with history, and being honest with the idea of discovering various facts about my ancestors is very good. One of the first reports to help adopted people who meet their biological Parents again, and many of them have a happy ending, others not so much.
The stories that scare me the most are people like Jerry and his kids, people who have no idea they have no blood tie, people who are mistaken, that's how I want to talk.
I know that a bond between a Father and son is not only made by blood, there are people who have it and in no way feel connected, there are people who are family by adoption, by love and could not be more Father and son at all good senses, but stories like Jerry's make me furious, afraid and even afraid of having children one day, which is a dream.
How can anyone deceive such a person? How does someone make the decision to not only betray, cheat and still lead you to believe that you are a Father in every way? Because there is a difference here, Jerry did not choose to "adopt" the boys, and the most frightening thing is that his case is not unique.
A man named Richard Mason discovered that he was not the biological Father of the 3 children, his ex wife did not want to name the "donor", he was already divorced when he made the discovery, just like Jerry, the boys were already adults, the pension was already had been paid. Source: DailyMail
In reports that can be found on Youtube, if you search: DNA Test NPE (Not Parent Expected), you will find several stories, from the children's point of view, and through the reports you see the emotional and psychological damage they face because of the discovery.
Here, on Reddit there are several stories like this, reports that honestly, I ask God for lies, the saddest thing so far is a man who discovers that he is not the biological Father of 2 of the 3 children, only the youngest is his, the wife confesses an extra marital relationship with her neighbor for 4 years, he was the Father. You find this story on the Surviving Infidelity page with the title: ([NeedSuport] New to this sub- absolutely devastated and completely lost) Read everything and then tell me, what would you say to someone in a situation like this?
These cases, stories, are of people who did not make that choice, people who were betrayed and deceived, someone who because I totally trust never dream of dissolving my partner, imagine discovering that someone has betrayed you for years, lied to you and you created that time a whole child that you probably wouldn't have raised? Is it the child's fault? NO! I feel a great pity for these Parents and children who make these discoveries, in many stories it is possible to see that the Mother refuses to speak any information about the biological Father, or to talk about the betrayal itself, in England there was a case where the man he discovered that he was not the biological father of an 8-year-old boy and sued and legally the woman was not required to reveal who the donor of the genetic material was.
In many countries, doctors and nurses at the time of delivery, even though they know that man is not the Biological Father, he cannot tell him, this is horrible in every way, no person, be it the man who faces this situation, or the woman who she doesn't know that her husband has children outside of marriage, they deserve it, I don't question the love you feel for the child, I raise the question that society seems to accept this without saying anything.
There is not much research on this subject, the only one was done in the United Kingdom and it shows that 1 man at home 25 is raising a child that is not his biological one without his knowledge.
The emotional and psychological damage generated in parents and children in such cases is never shown, even in the media when a character discovers the fright it is quickly pushed under the rug, "nothing changes" but, what about moving? What if this man cannot love the same way? What if the child / adult decides that he wants a father bond only with the biological Father?
The consequences of this are shown in the lives of people who often did not appear on television, who did not give interviews in the newspaper, people you do not even see on the bus, on the train, people who are often so ashamed, betrayed that they take their own life , men who do not want a relationship with the child anymore, because they face panic attacks, or simply because they do not want to, which I understand, I do not say that I agree.
This is not a reflection of what I think of women in general, just in terms of those who lied about it. How can they not feel remorse? Fault? In several reports, mothers do not talk about it, refuse to give any information, manipulate emotionally and face no legal consequences, many men are forced to pay child support. There are people all over the world who are getting involved with blood relatives without knowing, half brothers dating because they don't have this information.
I may be wrong, but I see everyone facing consequences, except women and men (donor) who know the whole truth and lie to protect themselves from any consequences.
If you are reading this and you did it, please tell the truth, don't play games with anyone anymore, whatever reason you're telling yourself just protects yourself, and it's not a sign of love and a sign of selfishness.
Signed, a Brazilian who does not know everything, but tries to learn.

2020.09.11 00:24 TheRazorX ...in which civilian oversight is now a bad thing "Cause Trump"

I rarely post essays.
As someone who's lived in other parts of the world, I've been watching events unfold with a severe dread that surpasses Trump's worst desires (or projected desires).
The thing I fear, is not Trump "winning, it's not Biden "Winning", it's not even directly related to the election itself, rather it's summarized in Friedrich Nietzsche's famous quote;
He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.
This quote while widespread is often ignored or dismissed as a side point, however I've long since come to the conclusion that the intense polarization is intended as a feature not a bug, and Trump is just merely a tool in the plan that has been underway for decades.
We've reached the point where BOTH Republicans AND Democrats (speaking of actual regular voters, not politicians or bots, or those minorities on either side that were already "extremists");
Myself and thousands of others that have traveled or lived in "less free" parts of the world have constantly warned of the similarities of the "But Trump" Boogeyman strategy, and of the dangers of this strategy coming to fruition, people from those regions have spoken the warnings clearly in English and of course we're ridiculed attacked and most importantly ignored.. Because "it can't happen here". Furthermore, the truth is, we've seen many "Trumps" before in recent times.
Anyone that has ever looked at any "Authoritarian" country, recognizes a very simple fact; People enable and allow said tyranny. Consent of the Governed is in fact given to both Democratic leaders and Authoritarian leaders.
In each and every one of these countries, no matter how despicable their leaders, they always manage to find support out of a fear of one or many "Boogeymen". In MENA, the holy trinity of Boogeymen is; The USA, Israel, The Muslim Brotherhood. And depending on which part of MENA, either Iran/Saudi.
Anything and everything wrong with the country, is the fault of one of those Boogeymen, and as a result quite a few people will hate their leaders openly, know they're corrupt thieves, murderers, pedophiles...etc but still back them because at least they're "protecting us from X". They'll be outraged at whatever crime the regime commits against the people, but willingly eat up the pro-regime propaganda because "They were trouble makers that deserved it" or "They were agents of Israel/USA" or "This is a plot by Israel/USA/Iran/Saudi"..etc. The list goes on and on and on. So much so that a common "twisting" of Karl Marx's adage on religion is "Israel is the Opiate of the Arabs", a concept naturally twisted by pro-Israel parties to deflect away from Israel's actual crimes, using typical "Whataboutism"
Sound familiar?
There's no doubt those "Boogeymen" are scary and regularly commit crimes. But the fact that someone commits crimes, has never ever meant that others have not themselves committed crimes. But they want you to think that, or even worse, they want the crimes of said Boogeymen to excuse the crimes of those in their own tribes.
There's a very real reason the astroturfing efforts are focused on "So you want Trump to win?" and "So you're voting for Trump?" type messages when trying to "convince" voters to back Biden that are skeptical. So much so, they haven't even bothered to pretend otherwise. They want binary.
There's a very very VERY good reason that Bernie said we need a global progressive front, and that Yanis Varoufakis agreed., What we're seeing happen in the USA, we saw before in multiple countries. They understand that with corporate authoritarian power going multinational and coordinating on an international basis, we need an international front to fight it, and not just focus on "local" stuff, because as I'm trying to point out, you end up seeing the same tactics happen elsewhere because even those that bother to pay cursory attention think or say "it can't happen here", or more importantly, even if they do understand the possibility of it "happening here" only see it in the light of tribalism, where only "The other" is willing or capable to bring it to fruition.
We're now at the point where civilian oversight of an election is considered a "bad thing" by "Liberals", "cause Drumpf", this isn't the first (or even last) time I've heard something similar. For example, it's anecdotal, but a friend reported once that during a conversation, a very liberal and otherwise "normal" but very "Dem" co-worker mentioned that she found it "extremely creepy" that a Bernie supporter was video taping her counting votes at a precinct in 2016 when she was a volunteer poll worker. She obviously wasn't a Bernie fan.

That is the bigger threat, that is the bigger "goal" that you can easily trace going back to 1971 or even 1933. This is the culmination of everything, including Trump and the Pied Piper strategy (A strategy they continue to repeat even though we've already seen and felt the real results of it on actual people, specifically the most disadvantaged); To effectively and gradually "guide" the populace into accepting tyranny and fascism, either out of exploiting their fears, or out of giving them a sense of self righteousness in which suppressing "the other" is for a "righteous cause" or "the greater good". They've slowly convinced a large group of people across political ideologies that "Stability is more important than Freedom", Something we've seen said before by Trump's "Favorite Dictator", causing a perception shift here in the USA that we're seeing happen in real time., largely mirroring the sentiment in "non-free" countries

You're either with us, or against us is now the rallying cry across the board.. one we've heard before even here in the USA, a message that when last we heard it, it was used to justify one of the worst crimes of the modern era
The intense polarization of America along acceptance of authoritarian tolerance is a feature, not a bug. To quote the pinned tweet of one of the aforementioned accounts;
“The junk merchant doesn't sell his product to the consumer, he sells the consumer to his product. He does not improve and simplify his merchandise. He degrades and simplifies the client.”
~William S. Burroughs, Naked Lunch
Multiple studies from reputable sources have sounded the alarm that faith in democracy is fading fast, but once again, no one is listening, even when "Liberal" favorites talk about it.
To give you an example of what I mean, folks wanting the government to "verify" news (to combat fake news), completely forget (or intentionally omit) the fact that the very same laws they're recommending have already been implemented in multiple countries and only benefit the ruling regime, who use them as just another tool to silence dissident. Furthermore, there are other methods of combating disinformation that don't erode civil liberties., but we rarely hear about them in public discourse, the choice we're always given is "Give up this right, or suffer the consequences".
And a crucial but (intentionally?) overlooked fact on the free-speech debate, starts cutting through all the fog;
“Constitutional protection should be accorded only to speech that is explicitly political,” he wrote. “There is no basis for judicial intervention to protect any other form of expression, be it scientific, literary or that variety of expression we call obscene or pornographic.”
But a transformative ruling by the Supreme Court five years later began to change that thinking. The case, a challenge to a state law that banned advertising the prices of prescription drugs, was filed by Public Citizen, a consumer rights group founded by Ralph Nader. The group argued that the law hurt consumers, and helped persuade the court, in Virginia State Board of Pharmacy v. Virginia Citizens Consumer Council, to protect advertising and other commercial speech.
The only dissent in the decision came from Justice William H. Rehnquist, the court’s most conservative member.
Kathleen M. Sullivan, a former dean of Stanford Law School, wrote that it did not take long for corporations to see the opportunities presented by the decision.
“While the case was litigated by consumer protection advocates,” she wrote in the Harvard Law Review, “corporate speakers soon became the principal beneficiaries of subsequent rulings that, for example, struck down restrictions on including alcohol content on beer can labels, limitations on outdoor tobacco advertising near schools and rules governing how compounded drugs may be advertised.”
That trend has continued, with businesses mounting First Amendment challenges to gun control laws, securities regulations, country-of-origin labels, graphic cigarette warnings and limits on off-label drug marketing.
“I was a bit queasy about it because I had the sense that we were unleashing something, but nowhere near what happened,” Mr. Nader said. “It was one of the biggest boomerangs in judicial cases ever.”
“I couldn’t be Merlin,” he added. “We never thought the judiciary would be as conservative or corporate. This was an expansion that was not preordained by doctrine. It was preordained by the political philosophies of judges.”
Not all of the liberal scholars and lawyers who helped create modern First Amendment law are disappointed. Martin Redish, a law professor at Northwestern University, who wrote a seminal 1971 article proposing First Amendment protection for commercial speech, said he was pleased with the Roberts court’s decisions.
“Its most important contributions are in the commercial speech and corporate speech areas,” he said. “It’s a workmanlike, common sense approach.”
Liberals also played a key role in creating modern campaign finance law in Buckley v. Valeo, the 1976 decision that struck down limits on political spending by individuals and was the basis for Citizens United, the 2010 decision that did away with similar limits for corporations and unions.
One plaintiff was Senator Eugene J. McCarthy, Democrat of Minnesota, who had challenged President Lyndon B. Johnson in the 1968 presidential primaries — from the left. Another was the American Civil Liberties Union’s New York affiliate.
Professor Neuborne, a former A.C.L.U. lawyer, said he now regrets the role he played in winning the case. “I signed the brief in Buckley,” he said. “I’m going to spend long amounts of time in purgatory.”
To Professor Seidman, cases like these were part of what he describes as a right-wing takeover of the First Amendment since the liberal victories in the years Chief Justice Earl Warren led the Supreme Court.
“With the receding of Warren court liberalism, free-speech law took a sharp right turn,” Professor Seidman wrote in a new article to be published in the Columbia Law Review. “Instead of providing a shield for the powerless, the First Amendment became a sword used by people at the apex of the American hierarchy of power. Among its victims: proponents of campaign finance reform, opponents of cigarette addiction, the L.B.G.T.Q. community, labor unions, animal rights advocates, environmentalists, targets of hate speech and abortion providers.
Yet, almost all the discourse in free speech debates/"Cancel culture" is focused on anything EXCEPT the corporate aspect, and naturally ignores the only groups actually and truly at a disadvantage.. Joy Ann Reid's was never "cancelled" for her Islamophobia, bigotry, racism, antisemitism...etc , but was rather rewarded with a prime time show, and many of the same "liberals" applaud her regularly.
And obviously on the Right, none of them are "Cancelled" for any obvious transgressions.
It starts getting clearer when you realize what types of people are "agreeing" with each other on the subject, and who certain folks decided to target
All that paints a very clear picture; Only your rights should be revoked. "We" should be given a pass.
Side note; I also find it interesting how many twisted abuses can be traced back to the corporate response to Nader's (at the time) very effective citizen activism.. That was the pivotal moment. Which makes it all the easier to see how they so effectively managed to turn him into a pariah.
On a related note, Information warfare has been predicted to be the new major war front at least as far back as 1996, so this isn't something they just started thinking about in 2016, contrary to popular perception. Hell, an extremely popular anime talked of it in the early 2000s, and fictionally exhibited things we see in reality today.
Even Bin Laden, the infamous terrorist, understood the ramifications, and considered it a primary tenant of his "Death by a thousand cuts" strategy, although he was primary focused on inflicting economic harm.
And "we" walked right into it willingly. Why? Well perhaps this next quote will shed some light;
Richard Shultz, a professor of international politics at Tufts who’s long been a key national security state intellectual, wrote in 2004 that “A very senior [Special Operations Forces] officer who had served on the Joint Staff in the 1990s told me that more than once he heard terrorist strikes characterized as ‘a small price to pay for being a superpower.’
Again, the missed subtext is clear; Human lives lost in terrorism attacks (and increased radicalization due to US actions leading to more potential terrorist attacks) are a cheap price for global (and more importantly economic) dominance. By extension, one can assume that human lives lost to other corporate goals are also considered a "cheap cost".

This is NOT ok.

Speaking of radicalization and Al-Qaeda....
What did the founding fathers (that conservatives love to reference) think of stuff like this?
Abraham Lincoln warned in February 15, 1848, of the dangers of "Only I see and understand the danger, only I can protect you" type politics.
Allow the President to invade a neighboring nation whenever he shall deem it necessary to repel an invasion, and you allow him to do so whenever he may choose to say he deems it necessary for such purpose, and you allow him to make war at pleasure. Study to see if you can fix any limit to his power in this respect, after having given him so much as you propose. If to-day he should choose to say he thinks it necessary to invade Canada to prevent the British from invading us, how could you stop him? You may say to him,—”I see no probability of the British invading us”; but he will say to you, “Be silent: I see it, if you don’t.”
The provision of the Constitution giving the war making power to Congress was dictated, as I understand it, by the following reasons: kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object. This our convention understood to be the most oppressive of all kingly oppressions, and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us. But your view destroys the whole matter, and places our President where kings have always stood. Write soon again.
James Madison on Friday, February 8th, 1788 warned;
But the great security against a gradual concentration of the several powers in the same department, consists in giving to those who administer each department the necessary constitutional means and personal motives to resist encroachments of the others. The provision for defense must in this, as in all other cases, be made commensurate to the danger of attack. Ambition must be made to counteract ambition. The interest of the man must be connected with the constitutional rights of the place. It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government; but experience has taught mankind the necessity of auxiliary precautions.
What's often missed, is the subtext of Madison's warning, and central to the thesis of this essay, clarifies that yes, Government is supposed to represent the will of the people (or what they're willing to tolerate), but what happens when "the people" are "guided" to a particular view? Why is propaganda so prevalent and effective? Why do we reject the very clear evidence and science that entire populations can in fact be "rewired" to a particular view?
In other words, combining the warnings of Nietzsche, Lincoln and Madison's warning leads to the conclusion that yes, if "properly guided" the people can be taught to "yearn for a king", something which again, we've seen happen in practice across the world.
In closing, while none of this information is new but we're reaching the apex of a long arc, and if you've read this and thought one or more of;
Then you're exactly part of the problem I'm warning of. I'm not saying vote for Trump, I'm not saying vote for Biden. I'm not saying to vote at all, or that voting actually has much to do with it in the first place.
I'm pointing out a very simple fact expressed once by Benjamin Franklin, and even though the context was endlessly butchered, the real context makes it far more relevant;
In January 1775 Benjamin Franklin (1796-1790) was part of an American delegation sent to Britain in an attempt to resolve the outstanding disagreements between the Crown and the colonies. Seventeen points were up for discussion of which several were rejected outright by the Crown while others were rejected by the colonies. Franklin’s comments regarding the last two points produced one of his most famous sayings from the period:
As to the other two acts, (i.e. 16. The American admiralty courts reduced to the same powers they have in England, and the acts establishing them to be reënacted in America; and 17. All powers of internal legislation in the colonies to be disclaimed by Parliament) the Massachusetts (sic) must suffer all the hazards and mischiefs of war rather than admit the alteration of their charters and laws by Parliament. ‘They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.’
The context explained in the analysis makes it ever more clear;
It is interesting to see where the main lines of disagreement lay between the colonists' delegation to London and the Crown in early 1775 which one would think would have been the last opportunity at some kind of reconciliation before independence was declared and war broke out. The sticking points for the Crown were the 8th, 11th, and 17th Articles which were declared to be “inadmissible” or were “refused absolutely”: “8. No troops to enter and quarter in any colony, but with the consent of its legislature. 11. The late Massachusetts and Quebec Acts to be repealed, and a free government granted to Canada. 17. All powers of internal legislation in the colonies to be disclaimed by Parliament.” The payment of back taxes might be negotiable but when it came to the stationing of troops or placing limits on the power of Parliament over colonial legislatures no compromise was possible without giving up political power. Franklin’s remarks about the trade offs between “essential liberty” and “a little temporary safety” seem to have been directed at those in the colonies who could see that further compromise was no longer possible by the Crown and that it was up to the colonies to cave in in order to maintain the peace. Franklin was urging them that to do this would be to give up the entire game and thereby scuttle any chance for real liberty and independence in the colonies.

The king is dead, long live the king.

TL;DR : Shit is fucked. Read it.

2020.09.08 00:15 pornfreedrj87 The Rise of the Technosexual / my bad relationship with texting on dating apps

I read this article this morning and while I don't think it was my exact situation, I thought it was at least related: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/sex/alarming-rise-technosexuals/
I have definitely had a bad habit of watching porn in the past, in a unhealthy way the same as most of you. But I've been able to 'quit' i.e. have only few infrequent relapses with porn, for quite a while. When I was in a relationship that was good enough, but being single brings a lot of others dangers that I've not been as successful at avoiding. Namely, what the article talks about, which is sexual arousal related to technology. I definitely don't get turned on by my Alexa (the article mentions that...) but I do have trouble using dating apps for their intended function, which is to meet people! I swipe and swipe, but just seeing an attractive woman's profile doesn't cause me any crazy urges. It's when I have a good conversation with a woman I find attractive, seeing their response and the bumble/tindesnapchat/text notification that comes with it is what excites me. I have literally jerked off mid text-conversation with people, when the conversations are only mildly flirty.
I'm not really seeking advice for this problem, although if anyone has some that would be great. My main focus is to stop using dating apps for this unintended purpose. But mostly I want to bring awareness to you all and ask if anyone else has had the same experience!
I've done decently well lately with not immediately giving in to urges when chatting someone up, but I have definitely jerked off thinking about girls who I've only had tinder conversations with, which is definitely bad for me.
Thanks for reading!

2020.09.07 15:39 rusticgorilla Lost in the Sauce: DHS hides intelligence that reveals Trump using Russia's playbook, again

Welcome to Lost in the Sauce, keeping you caught up on political and legal news that often gets buried in distractions and theater… or a global health crisis.
Housekeeping:

Trump’s playbook is Russia’s playbook

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in July withheld an intelligence bulletin warning of a Russian plot to spread misinformation regarding Joe Biden's mental health. The bulletin, titled “Russia Likely to Denigrate Health of U.S. Candidates to Influence 2020 Election,” was blocked by the office of acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf on July 9.
  • The bulletin states that analysts had “high confidence” in their conclusion. However, a DHS spokesperson tried to defend the “delay” in issuing the document by saying it did not meet the agency’s standards. This is curious because just a week later, on July 16, DHS circulated a bulletin on anarchists in Portland that officers admitted they had “low confidence” in. Why was the Russia memo held back but the Portland one released?
  • Trump has been pushing the same line of attack against Biden for months - yet another instance of Russia and Trump operating from the same playbook. For instance, in March Trump said there was “something going on” with Biden; in June Trump ran selectively edited ads asserting that Biden is “unfit to serve as Commander in Chief”; last month Trump ran a digital ad portraying Biden as perpetually confused and mentally unstable. Most recently, Trump said questions about his own health are only in the news because “they want to try and get me to be on Biden's physical level."
DHS is just the latest agency in the Trump administration to erode election security, following actions by the Justice Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) last month. DNI John Ratcliffe announced he was ending in-person congressional briefings on election security ahead of November and AG Bill Barr removed a leading career official at the Justice Department’s national security division, replacing him with an inexperienced political appointee.
The ODNI’s decision to halt congressional election briefs may have been influenced by top White House officials. National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, among others, have repeatedly discussed in meetings with staff and with Trump “how to restrict and control the flow of information on such sensitive topics to Capitol Hill.”
One White House official told The Daily Beast that Meadows has for months been wary of the type of briefings on Capitol Hill that Democratic sources can potentially use to try to make Trump look bad through surreptitious leaks to media outlets.
Meanwhile, interim Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee Marco Rubio (R-FL) said last week that his committee will be granted an exception to the ODNI’s new policy and continue to receive in-person briefings from top U.S. intelligence officials about election-security issues. This essentially means that only Democrat-led committees have been cut out of the process ensuring election security.
House Democrats wrote to Ratcliffe insinuating if his office does not provide the previously scheduled briefings this month they will issue subpoenas and/or defund the ODNI in the appropriations bill due by the end of the month. Read the letter here.
In addition to attacks on Biden’s health, DHS has determined that Russia is seeking to “amplify” concerns over the integrity of U.S. elections by promoting allegations that mail-in voting will lead to widespread fraud. Intelligence analysts say this strategy has been underway since at least March, coinciding with Trump’s own assaults on mail-in voting.
  • For instance, in March Trump said if he agreed to funding vote-by-mail expansions in the first coronavirus stimulus bill, the U.S. would see “levels of voting that, if you ever agreed to it, you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again” (clip). Fact check: Neither party has historically benefited. On April 7, at the White House press briefing, Trump claimed: "Mail ballots are a very dangerous thing for this country, because they're cheaters… They're fraudulent in many cases" (clip). Fact check: There is no evidence that mail ballots are dangerous or fraudulent.
At a White House press briefing on Friday, Trump denied there is any proof that Russia poisoned opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Instead of backing the German government's analysis of Nalvany's illness, Trump then redirected the criticism from Russia to China (clip).
"I don't know exactly what happened. I think it's tragic. It's terrible; it shouldn't happen. We haven't had any proof yet, but I will take a look. It is interesting that everybody is always mentioning Russia - and I don't mind you mentioning Russia - but I think probably China, at this point, is a nation that you should be talking about much more so than Russia. Because the things that China's doing are far worse.”
Trump then went on to say he’s “taken stronger action against Russia than any other country in the world,” but added “I do get along with President Putin” (clip).

The Trump administration plans to deport a Russian national living in America, a move experts say is in response to a politically motivated request by Russia. Gregory Duralev was persecuted by the Russian state for exposing corruption. He fled to America and applied for asylum in 2015. While waiting for a decision on his application, he was arrested by ICE and jailed for nearly 18 months. His case is now in court.
“DHS has acted no better than the Russian authorities,” Duralev said. “They simply fabricated charges against me for violations I never committed — and if DHS can trump up charges against immigrants with impunity, nobody can guarantee they won’t start doing it” to regular Americans. “So that’s the main message I now hope to send.”

Michael Cohen & Peter Strzok

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok has a book coming out called “Compromised.” In it, he alleges that FBI investigators came to believe it was “conceivable, if unlikely” that Russia was secretly controlling President Trump after he took office:
“We certainly had evidence that this was the case: that Trump, while gleefully wreaking havoc on America’s political institutions and norms, was pulling his punches when it came to our historic adversary, Russia,” Strzok writes. “Given what we knew or had cause to suspect about Trump’s compromising behavior in the weeks, months, and years leading up to the election, moreover, it also seemed conceivable, if unlikely, that Moscow had indeed pulled off the most stunning intelligence achievement in human history: secretly controlling the president of the United States — a Manchurian candidate elected.”
He now says he doesn’t believe that Trump is literally a Russian spy: “I don’t think that Trump, when he meets with Putin, receives a task list for the next quarter,” Strzok said, referencing the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. “But I do think the president is compromised, that he is unable to put the interests of our nation first, that he acts from hidden motives, because there is leverage over him, held specifically by the Russians but potentially others as well.”
In an interview with Politico, Strzok confirms that he and then-deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, opened a counterintelligence case on the president, but that it likely was never pursued. Two weeks ago, NYT reported that Rosenstein secretly closed it.
As if there weren’t enough political books coming out this summefall, Michael Cohen is releasing his, called “Disloyal: A Memoir.” The following a couple of quick takeaways:
Cohen says that he, Trump, Aras Agalarov, Emin Agalarov, and others, watched a strip show in Las Vegas where one performer simulated peeing on another performer, who pretended to drink it. Trump reportedly reacted with “delight.” Aras Agalarov, a Russian real estate mogul, is a trusted associate of Putin and reportedly served as a liaison between Trump and the Russian president during Trump’s trip to Moscow.
WaPo:
On Russia, Cohen writes that the cause behind Trump’s admiration of Russian President Vladimir Putin is simpler than many of his critics assume. Above all, he writes, Trump loves money — and he wrongly identified Putin as “the richest man in the world by a multiple.” Trump loved Putin, Cohen wrote, because the Russian leader had the ability “to take over an entire nation and run it like it was his personal company — like the Trump Organization, in fact.”
...According to Cohen, Trump’s sycophantic praise of the Russian leader during the 2016 campaign began as a way to suck up and ensure access to the oligarch’s money after he lost the election. But he claims Trump came to understand that Putin’s hatred of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, dating to her support for the 2011 protest movement in Russia, could also help Trump amass more power in the United States.

USPS & mail voting

According to a Washington Post report yesterday, Postmaster Louis DeJoy engaged in campaign money laundering, also called a straw-donor scheme, at his former logistics business. Five of his former employees told WaPo that they were “urged” to donate to politicians in North Carolina and would be paid back through bonuses from DeJoy. Such a plan would allow DeJoy to illegally circumvent campaign donation limits.
“Louis was a national fundraiser for the Republican Party. He asked employees for money. We gave him the money, and then he reciprocated by giving us big bonuses,” said David Young, DeJoy’s longtime director of human resources, who had access to payroll records at New Breed from the late 1990s to 2013 and is now retired.
“He would ask employees to make contributions at the same time that he would say, ‘I’ll get it back to you down the road,’ ” said [another] former employee.
...A Washington Post analysis of federal and state campaign finance records found a pattern of extensive donations by New Breed employees to Republican candidates, with the same amount often given by multiple people on the same day. Between 2000 and 2014, 124 individuals who worked for the company together gave more than $1 million to federal and state GOP candidates. Many had not previously made political donations, and have not made any since leaving the company, public records show.
More than one million mail-in ballots were sent late to voters during the 2020 primary elections, an audit by the USPS IG’s office determined. Most of the ballots were late, the USPS says, because local election boards sent the ballots to voters at the last minute. Official press release.
[The audit] found the problems during primaries had been most pronounced in Kentucky and New York, where a combined 628,000 ballots were sent out late. In 17 states, the audit found, more than 589,000 ballots were sent from election boards to voters after the state’s ballot mailing deadline. In 11 states, more than 44,000 ballots were sent from election boards to voters the day of or the day before the state’s primary election.
One particularly troubling situation, auditors found, unfolded in Pennsylvania, where 500 ballots were sent to voters the day after the election.
Furthermore, only 13% of the ballots were mailed with the recommended bar code tracking technology.
Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) was blocked from attending two scheduled tours of USPS facilities last week. Local Postal Service officials informed her and union leaders waiting to accompany her into the building that national USPS leadership had directed them to bar the group from the building. A Postal Service spokeswoman said they simply needed more notice for a tour.
Many states, including important battleground states, are not legally permitted to process mail-in/absentee ballots until Election Day, leading to concern that results will be delayed by days or weeks. For instance, in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan election officials cannot even begin processing ballots until Election Day. Processing involves opening envelopes, flattening ballots to run through the scanning machine, and prepping for the scanning.
"When voters have to wait so long for results, it erodes trust in the process and leaves room for partisan bad actors to dispute the will of the people," said Amber McReynolds, CEO of the National Vote at Home Institute, a nonprofit organization.
AG Bill Barr made three stunning false claims about mail voting during an interview with Wolf Blitzer last week. First, Barr wouldn’t even acknowledge that voting twice is a crime - because just hours earlier, Trump encouraged his North Carolina supporters to vote twice to “test” the state’s mail-in voting system (clip).
BLITZER: It sounds like he’s encouraging people to break the law and try to vote twice.
BARR: It seems to me what he’s saying is, he’s trying to make the point that the ability to monitor this system is not good. And it was so good, if you tried to vote a second time you would be caught if you voted in person.
BLITZER: That would be illegal if they did that. If somebody mailed in a ballot and then actually showed up to vote in person, that would be illegal.
BARR: "I don't know what the law in the particular state says.”
BLITZER: You can’t vote twice.
BARR: "I don't know what the law in the particular state says.”
Then, Barr tried to assert that foreign countries could fake ballots, but when challenged he admitted he had no evidence (clip).
BLITZER: You’ve said you were worried that a foreign country could send thousands of fake ballots, thousands of fake ballots to people that it might be impossible to detect. What are you basing that on?
BARR: I’m basing — as I’ve said repeatedly, I’m basing that on logic.
BLITZER: Pardon?
BARR: Logic.
Finally, Barr cited a supposed incident of mail-in voting fraud in Texas. Too bad it doesn’t exist.

The payroll

Charles Rettig, the Trump-appointed IRS Commissioner who has refused to release President Trump’s tax returns, has made hundreds of thousands of dollars renting out Trump properties while in office. Rettig makes $100,000 - $200,000 a year from two units at Trump International Waikiki. When first nominated, Rettig failed to disclose his financial ties to Trump Waikiki. When questioned by Congress, he did not directly answer concerns about the properties.
CREW: With Trump’s name removed from some buildings as it began to hurt property values, we can only imagine how toxic it would become if a bombshell in his tax returns were released. Which means the IRS Commissioner has a vested interest in the success of the Trump brand—and of preventing anything that could damage it.
Voice of America staffers say Trump appointee Michael Pack is threatening to wash away legal protections intended to insulate their news reports from political meddling. Since arriving, Pack has fired the network's leaders, pushed out agency executives, refused to approve allotted budgets, and refused to renew visas for foreign employees.
  • Further reading: “Deleted Biden video sets off a crisis at Voice of America,” Politico.
Pack suggested the staff he fired and foreign journalists he essentially kicked out may have been foreign spies, without offering any evidence to support his claim. A group of 14 senior VOA journalists are openly disputing his explanation:
“Mr. Pack has made a thin excuse that his actions are meant to protect national security, but just as was the case with the McCarthy ‘Red Scare,’ which targeted VOA and other government organizations in the mid-1950s, there has not been a single demonstrable case of any individual working for VOA — as the USAGM CEO puts it — ‘posing as a spy,’ ” they wrote.
The White House is searching for a replacement for Federal Trade Commission Chair Joe Simons, a Republican who has publicly resisted President Donald Trump’s efforts to crack down on social media companies. Simons, a veteran antitrust lawyer, cannot legally be removed by the president except in cases of gross negligence. But the White House has already interviewed at least one candidate for the post.

Richard Grenell, formerly the highest-ranking out gay official in the Trump administration, has joined a law firm founded by Pat Robertson that has a history of opposing LGBTQ+ rights. Grenell also recently joined the Republican National Committee to do outreach to LGBTQ+ voters.
The Trump administration has quietly named a new acting State Department inspector general. Matthew Klimow, the U.S. ambassador to Turkmenistan since mid-2019, is the third acting IG since Trump and Pompeo ousted Senate-confirmed IG Steve Linick in May.
Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s current special envoy to Northern Ireland, former Chief of Staff, and former acting head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, is starting a hedge fund focused on financial services regulation. Ethics experts say Mulvaney explicitly using his knowledge of CFPB to place bets for and against companies gives him an unfair and perhaps illegal advantage.

Court and DOJ matters

Court cases
The Trump administration must, for now, stop winding down in-person counting efforts for the 2020 census, a federal judge in California ordered.
The three-judge panel hearing a challenge to Trump’s new anti-immigrant census policy seemed hostile to the government’s arguments in a hearing last week.
A federal judge has stopped the Trump administration from enforcing a rule change that would let health care providers deny medical services to LGBTQ patients on the grounds of religion.
Justice Department
Federal prosecutors are preparing to charge longtime GOP fundraiser Elliott Broidy in connection with efforts to influence the U.S. government on behalf of foreign interests. Broidy helped raise millions for Donald Trump’s election and the Republican Party.
Barr ordered another round of changes to FISA rules, tightening the use of government surveillance on political candidates or their staffers — a move conservatives will likely cheer, as they have long criticized how the FBI investigated the Trump campaign in 2016.
Before conducting physical searches or wiretaps of a federal election official, members of the official's staff, candidates for federal office, or their staff or advisers, the FBI must now consider giving them a "defensive briefing," to tell them that they could be the target of foreign influence.

2020.09.07 05:28 Floodman11 Everything you need to know for the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans - Ask your questions here!

With only days separating us from the 88th running of the 24 Heures du Mans, it's time again for the Le Mans Primer thread! This is the place if you’ve got any questions about the 2020 Le Mans event, no matter how small! There are no dumb questions about Le Mans!

CONTENTS

The Race

The 24 Heures du Mans brings up its 88th edition this year, and is the holy grail of endurance motor racing. After its first running in 1923, the course and cars have evolved to become the premier event in the World Endurance Championship, and the event is recognised as the most prestigious test for innovations in motorsport technology. Technologies such as disk and air brakes, streamlined bodywork, and a variety of engine configurations were trialled and tested at the 24 hours of Le Mans. The Mazda 787b (oh god listen to that sound!) was the first, and so far only car to win running a Wankel Rotary engine, winning in 1991. Audi brought diesel engines their first success in 2006 with the R10 TDI, and then brought Hybrid technology to victory for the first time in 2012 with the R18 e-tron Quattro.
For the first time in over 50 years, the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held in September, instead of it's normal third-weekend-in-June date. This will mean more night time running, potentially more inclement weather, and a spectacle unlike any other Le Mans event!
This years edition also marks a significant first, and a significant farewell for the 24 Hours of Le Mans Event. Firstly, this year is the first year of the new Hyperpole qualifying format. In this format, all classes are permitted to use the track in the 45 minute qualifying session on Thursday evening. The top 6 cars from each of the 4 classes then progress to the Hyperpole session on Friday morning, which sets the top of the grid for each class. This means that each class will be segregated on the final grid.
Secondly, with the introduction of the LMH regulations starting next year, this is the last edition featuring LMP1 as the top class at Le Mans. The LMP moniker has been used at Le Mans since 1996, where it was used to describe purpose built race machines as opposed to the homologated LMGT1 class, which were based on road-going machinery.

The Track

The Circuit de la Sarthe covers 13.6 kilometres of the French country side. It combines the permanent race components of the Ford Chicanes, the pit straight, under the Dunlop Bridge and through to Tertre Rouge as well as the normal everyday roads of the Mulsanne straight through to Indianapolis and Arnage. The track has gone through many iterations over the years; originally, the cars raced into the heart of the city, turning just before the river Sarthe, before hurtling down the 8.6 kilometre straight. In 1932, the circuit removed the journey into the city, and more closely resembled the track we see today. Here’s a video of Mike Hawthorn touring the circuit with a camera and microphone attached in 1956, one year after his involvement in the Le Mans disaster. The addition of the Porsche Curves and the Ford Chicanes in 1972 added an extra dimension to the high speed, fast flowing track. In the late 80’s, the Group C prototype cars would reach over 400km/h, achieving average speeds of almost 250km/h in qualifying for the entire lap. This is an onboard of Derek Bell’s Porsche 956 in 1983, showing the ridiculous speeds on this configuration of the circuit. This configuration remained relatively unchanged right up to 1990, until FIA mandations required that for the circuit to be sanctioned, it must not have a straight longer than 2km. The 6km Mulsanne straight was cut down into three relatively equal length portions by two chicanes, giving the iteration of the circuit used today. Allan McNish takes you on an onboard lap of the current circuit in this video. McNish is one of the gods of the modern prototype era, winning Le Mans 3 times; once with Porsche and twice with Audi. For a more comprehensive focus on the track, John Hindhaugh’s track walk takes you on a 30 minute exploration of the track, with in depth focus on corners like the Dunlop Esses, Tertre Rouge, Mulsanne Corner, and the Ford Chicanes.
Finally, check out the fastest ever lap in the Circuit de la Sarthe: Kamui Kobayashi's 3:14.791 in 2017 Q2
The Dunlop Bridge
The iconic Dunlop Bridge has been a part of the Le Mans track since 1932, making it the oldest Dunlop Bridge at any track. This part of the track requires a good launch out of the first chicane before cresting the brow of the hill, and plunging through the esses out onto the Mulsanne straight. As the LMP cars are much more maneuverable, caution must be taken passing the slower GT traffic, as Allan McNish discovered in 2011.
Tertre Rouge
Tertre Rouge is the corner that launches the cars onto the long Mulsanne straight. Maintaining momentum through this corner as it opens on exit is imperative to ensure maximum straight line speed heading down the first part of the Mulsanne. The undulation in the road makes for fantastic viewing at night, with some magic images of the Porsches throwing up sparks on the exit in 2014. Finally, this was the location of Allan Simonsen’s fatal crash in mixed conditions in the 2013 Le Mans. The Danish flags will fly at the corner in his memory.
Mulsanne Corner
After the incredibly long Mulsanne straight, the Mulsanne corner nowadays features a subtle right hand kink before the tight 90 degree turn. Here, the cars decelerate from 340 km/h down to below 100 km/h, resulting in a brilliant opportunity to overtake. Again, care must be taken overtaking slower traffic; unaware drivers have caught out faster cars attempting to pass through the kink, such as Anthony Davidson’s spectacular crash in 2012 resulting in a broken vertebra for Davidson.
Indianapolis and Arnage
The Indanapolis and Arnage complex is one of the most committed areas of the track. Hurtling down the hill from the Mulsanne Corner, the road suddenly bends to the right, a corner which only the bravest prototype drivers take flat out, followed by a beautifully cambered open left hander taken in third gear. A short sprint leads the cars into Arnage, the slowest point on the track. The tight right hander was the scene of heartbreak for Toyota in 2014 when the leading #7 broke down and had to be retired after an FIA sensor melted and shut off the electronics. Kazuki Nakajiima was unable to make it to the pits, leaving him stranded on the circuit.
The Porsche Curves
High speed and with barely any run off, the Porsche Curves is the most committed part of the lap. Getting caught behind GT traffic in this section can mean losing phenomenal amounts of time. This was the site of Loic Duval’s horrific crash in practice for the 2014 event. Keeping momentum through the flowing right-left-right handers that lead into Maison Blanche requires 100% commitment and ultimate precision, with severe punishment for getting it wrong.
The Ford Chicanes
The final chapter in the 13.6km rollercoaster that is Le Mans is the Ford Chicanes. Two tight left-right handers with massive kerbs are all that separates the driver from the finish line. Watching the cars bounce over the kerbs in beautiful slow motion is certainly something to behold, but 24 hours of mistreatment can lead to suspension and steering issues. The drivers have to be attentive until the very end, lest they throw it all away in the last minutes of the race. This year, it’s expected that the LMP1 teams will have to flawlessly navigate the circuit almost 400 times during the 24 hours of racing.

The Classes

The WEC consists of four classes on track at once, resulting in four separate races on track each in their own battle for 24 Hours. The classes are split by car type into Prototype and GT, and then further into Pro and Amateur. Each class has it's own set of regulations, driver requirements, and relevance for the Le Mans event

LMP1 is the top class of Sportscars, and features the fastest prototype closed top race cars. The cars rival F1 cars in terms of performance and lap times, and are capable of lapping the Le Mans circuit in around 3:20. The cars in this class are built specifically for endurance racing, and are limited by both instantaneous and average fuel flow, to put the focus of the class onto development of efficiency. This year, Toyota is the only OEM manufacturer, with 3 privateer teams bringing along three different chassis to take a shot at the overall victory. As Toyota's car is a hybrid, and the privateer cars are not, the different types of car have to be balanced by a process called "Equivalence of Technology", or EoT. For more information on how EoT is calculated and applied, check out this article on the Le Mans website For those who have followed the WEC all season, it is important to note that the Success Handicap that has been applied throughout the season will not be applied at Le Mans. Thus, we will see the full unshackled ability of the cars in LMP1 for the 24 Hours!

The second prototype class is LMP2, and provides an excellent platform for endurance racing on a budget. The LMP2 class features a spec drivetrain and gearbox, using a Gibson V8 producing 600hp, and a selection of three chassis to choose from (well four really but we don't talk about Riley). This ensures that the competition in the class is very tight, and often comes down to the drivers and the teams performance instead of just having the best car. The LMP2 category is only just a step down from LMP1, with rivalling top speeds, and can lap in around 3:30.
LMP2 is the first class that must feature amateur rated drivers. The Amateurs must drive for a minimum of 6 hours in the car over the course of the race. This means that there's an element of strategy of when to use your amateur driver throughout the race, as the amateur driver is generally slower than the Pros. The pro drivers in this class range from up and coming talent, former F1 drivers, and some of the best sportscar pilots in the world, and with 24 cars in this class, LMP2 is sure to be a hotbed of action over the 24 hours.

GT class cars are cars that are derived from production models, and feature some of the most iconic cars and brands battling it out at the top of the field. The GTE cars are on the border of aero dependency, and can lap Le Mans in around 3:50
This year, the GTE-Pro entry has been hit significantly by the developments of the Covid-19 situation. Factory backed teams from America, including the Corvette C8.R and the Core-run Porsche GTLM program, have been unable to make the trip, resulting in a three-way tussle between Porsche, Ferrari, and Aston Martin for this year's event. The GTE-Pro class features all-pro line ups, resulting in some of the best drivers in the world racing in some of the most prestigious hardware that racing has to offer.
The GT classes feature a range of different cars and configurations, and to equalise each of these against each other, the class goes through a process called 'Balance of Performance' or BoP. The organisers can adjust each individual car's weight, fuel tank, air restrictor, turbo boost pressures, and aero performance to alter performance levels to enable the different cars to race competitively. This can sometimes be contentious as every team will feel hard done by, but it is a necessary evil to having the variety of cars on the grid.

Like GTE-Pro, GTE-Am features the same GT cars derived from production models. There are two major differences between GTE-Pro and GTE-Am. Firstly, as the name implies, GTE-Am must feature two amateur drivers per car; one rated Silver and the other rated Bronze. Additionally, the specifications of GTE-Am cars are a season behind the GTE-Pro category. While this had a major affect last year, this year all teams have been able to upgrade to the most recent spec machinery released by the manufacturer teams.
With two amateur drivers, all of a sudden the strategy considerations multiply. Additionally, the variety of Pro drivers in this class range from ex-F1 talent to brand new drivers to the Endurance Sportscar scene. While GTE-Am might be the class focussed on the least over the course of the race, the stories that come from this class are phenomenal, and it's well worth following.

The Legends

Part of the allure of the Le Mans 24 Hours is the history, and the legends steeped in history over the course of it's 85 previous editions. The race has had many headline battles in it's history - periods of time where two or three teams went toe to toe for years, with the drivers, cars, and brands embroiled in these battles given the chance to elevate themselves above the rest, and show their prowess.
Last year at /WEC, we’ve taken our normal Le Mans Legends celebrations to a new level; each week, members of the community have been writing reviews on some of the closest, most fascinating finishes in Le Mans history! You can check out these reports below!
Bonus CookieMonsterFL Write-Ups
This year, we've invited you to celebrate some of the Privateer teams that have made this event special. So far we've featured ByKolles, Pescarolo, and Joest, with another one still to come!
The early races were dominated by the Bentley company in their Speed 6, who won 5 of the first 7 races. Cars were separated into classes by their engine displacement, and the overall winner was based on distance covered. If two cars had finished with the same number of laps, the car with the smaller displacement was declared the winner. The race wasn't run during the second world war, and comparatively very little information is available on the stories of the early days of Le Mans.
After the second world war, teams such as Jaguar, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin became the dominant teams. This era featured the legendary Jaguar D type, the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR, the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, and the Aston Martin DBR1. Jaguar won 5 times between 1951 and 1957, followed by an era of Ferrari dominance. Drivers such as Mike Hawthorn, Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio, and John Fitch became household names as Le Mans became a battle between German engineering and British "garagistas".
Ferrari and Ford was the story of the 60's, with Ferrari winning 6 times straight before Ford won four in a row with the GT40 Mk II, taking their first win in 1966. The story of their rivalry is legendary in it's own right - Henry Ford had almost successfully bought out the Ferrari motor company, only to be knocked back by Enzo himself at the 11th hour. In retaliation, Ford planned to hurt Ferrari where it mattered most; on the track. The Ford GT40 was so comprehensively dominant that it won the 1966 edition 21 laps ahead of the next car back - a Porsche 906/6. None of the Ferrari 330P3's finished the race. This battle gave drivers like Bruce Mclaren, Dan Gurney, and Jacky Ickx their first Le Mans victories, and propelled them to the forefront of motorsport stardom at the height of motorsport's popularity.
The 1970's saw the dawn of Porsche, with the 917k taking the brand's first win in 1970, with the same car winning the following year in the hands of Helmut Marko (yes, that Helmut Marko). It would be 5 years before Porsche would win again, with Maatra taking 3 victories in the interim, each at the hands of Henri Pescarolo. Porsche returned with the 936 and the 956/962c dominating the race for the next 20 years. In fact, from 1970, Porsche won 12 times in 18 events, including 7 in a row, and they miiight have been a bit cheeky about it. Amongst these 12 wins, there were 4 for both Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, and two for IMSA legend Hurley Haywood, as well as the first win for the Joest team in 1984. This era coincided with the introduction, and subsequent destruction of the Group C sportscar formula, widely regarded as the best Sportscar championship regulations of all time. Porsche’s dominance was eventually ended by Jaguar in the XJR-9LM, at the height of Group C’s magic. Ickx's 6 wins at this stage had earned him the nickname 'Mister Le Mans', a fitting title for one of the best drivers in the world at the time.
GT cars became a force to be reckoned with at the end of the Group C era, with classes being split into LMGTP and LMP. McLaren and Porsche had wins in GTP cars, in the F1 GTR and the 911 GT1 respectively, while Porsche, BMW and Peugeot scored LMP wins. 1997 saw the first win for Tom Kristensen, while the following year Allan McNish took his first victory, starting their journeys into the legend books of Le Mans.
The 2000’s ushered in the era of Audi, with all 13 of their wins coming since the turn of the century. GTP was disbanded due to safety issues, being replaced by GT1 and GT2. Audi picked up wins in the R8, the R10, the R15, and the R18, often dominating the might of the Peugeot 908. Audi's dominance elevated not only their drivers to legend status, but also their team managers, car designers, and race engineers. People like Reinhold Joest (team manager), Dr Wolfgang Ullrich (Audisport director), Ulrich Baretzky (engine designer), Leena Gade, Howden Haynes (race engineers) behind the wall and Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen, Rinaldo Capello, Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer have become household names in the sport not only for their wins, but their longevity and domination. Audi's dominance was only broken by a win for Bentley in 2003, running basically an Audi under a British racing green skin, and Peugeot in 2009, before being ended for good by Porsche in 2015.
Between 2015 and 2017, Porsche added to their victories, now holding a record 19 overall victories at the Circuit de la Sarthe. Audi trail with 13, with Ferrari, Jaguar and Bentley holding the next three positions. Toyota finally took their first overall victory in 2018, and backed it up with another last year. Tom Kristensen is has the most victories at Le Mans, with 9 overall victories over his career with Porsche, Audi and Bentley, inheriting the title of Mr Le Mans.

Demons and Interdimensional Beings: Will you be fooled?
Introduction
You probably heard about the girl who was “convinced” by Slenderman to attempt to murder her friend:
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/feb/01/slender-man-stabbing-wisconsin-girl-sentence
While most would dismiss this article, especially on a conspiracy forum, is there any truth behind this?
Sure, it is easy to dismiss all stories like this as simple mental illness, and I am not denying that mental illness often plays a role in paranormal experiences, but what if there is something deeper here? Are demons real? Is there any essence of truth in these stories?
I remember a few years ago a dated a guy who was an alcoholic. One day, he decided to quit drinking, and I helped him dump out all of his liquor and beer. There was A LOT. When we poured out the last bottle, we heard actual footsteps walking away – and nobody was home but us.
Sure, this can all be dismissed, and I am not asking you to believe me about that specific story. But I am asking you to consider the other evidence that demons are real.
And if they are real, can those in control use them to control you?
Before We Begin
Before we look deeper into what demons actually are, we certainly cannot deny the plethora of news stories on them:
Catholic excorisms are on the rise:
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/12/catholic-exorcisms-on-the-rise/573943/
Demonic possession is real according to a “prominent psychiatrist”:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/03/demonic-possession-real-victims-seeking-exorcism-should-not/
Son accused of killing his mom claims he was possessed by demons:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/03/demonic-possession-real-victims-seeking-exorcism-should-not/
CNN reports about a “man of science” who deals with demons:
https://www.cnn.com/2017/08/04/health/exorcism-doctoindex.html
This killer’s defense was demon possession:
https://www.courant.com/news/connecticut/hc-250-arne-johnson-20140412-story.html
Even the Huffington Post says we should take demon possession seriously:
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/why-we-should-take-demonic-possession-seriously_b_587d6daee4b0a7ab06ed2c6a
Of course, these articles in and of themselves are not proof that demons are real. However, the point here is that when we speak of demons, maybe it is not always just about ‘crazy’ people.
What are demons?
If demons are real, we should probably define what they are before we continue.
According to Wikipedia, a demon is “A demon is a supernatural and often malevolent being prevalent historically in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology, and folklore; as well as in media) such as comics, videogames, movies and television series.”
It is important to note that the concept of demons exist in nearly every culture and religious belief system, too:
In Buddhism, they are called “mara”:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mara_(demon))
And in Christianity they are “corrupted spirits” helping Satan with his endeavors:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demon
The point here is that most religions, cultures, and spiritualities point to demonic entities. No matter what your belief system, it is probably difficult to deny that there are some forms of “lowly” or malevolent beings.
Still, that does not prove demons exist, but not all “scientists” deny the possibility that demons can exist. This article explores how a scientist learned to work with exorcists:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/07/01/as-a-psychiatrist-i-diagnose-mental-illness-and-sometimes-demonic-possession/
Interdimensional Hypothesis
If demons do exist, *where* do they exist? Often, it is difficult for people to comprehend the fact that the physical reality that we see may not be the only reality that exists. We can only see a certain spectrum of light, after all, and it is possible a whole other reality exists alongside our own – one we just cannot see. According to Wikipedia,
“The interdimensional hypothesis (IDH or IH), is an idea advanced by Ufologists such as Jacques Vallée that says unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and related events involve visitations from other "realities" or "dimensions" that coexist separately alongside our own. It is not necessarily an alternative to the extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH) seeing as the two hypotheses are not mutually exclusive so both could be true simultaneously. IDH also holds that UFOs are a modern manifestation of a phenomenon that has occurred throughout recorded human history, which in prior ages were ascribed to mythological or supernatural creatures.[1]
To me, this theory is profound, especially when we bring aliens into the discussion.
Today, the idea of aliens is more popular in belief than ever, with people even “raiding” Area 51 so they can find the truth about UFOs and these beings:
https://time.com/5652390/area-51-alienstock-festival/
While most perceive aliens as physical extra-dimensional beings, I am here to argue that they are possibly interdimensional, and not only that, even demonic.
Why, might you ask, can’t they be some sort of angelic, interdimensional being? My answer to that is simple: look into abduction stories. Have you ever heard about a “friendly” abduction?
While this article dismisses abductions themselves, it does tie them to victims with memories of Satanic ritual abuse experiences:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7960296
It is even said that many “abductees” have stated the name of Jesus Christ in order to halt abductions:
https://www.ubm1.org/?page=aliendemons
Could the elite elicit demonic beings in their Satanic rituals? The point here is that an alien invasion might actually be worldwide demonic possession.
CERN, the Mandela Effect, and Demonic Forces
Do you remember Tinkerbell waving her wand at the beginning of Disney movies? Well, that does not exist anymore. Maybe you’re still frazzled by the Berenstain vs. Berenstein debate. Did the lion lay down with the lamb…or the wolf?
Most of us have at least heard of the Mandela Effect by now, so I am not going to dive too deeply into that. But, what most do not consider is that there may be demonic forces behind what is happening.
The Hadron Collider at CERN first fired up in 2008, and interestingly, some of the first reports of the Mandela Effect were reported in 2009:
https://home.cern/science/accelerators/large-hadron-collider
https://mandelaeffect.com/major-memories/
Still, what do these reports have to do with one another or demons?
Well, the Wallstreet Journal writes, “Cern is Seeking Secrets of the Universe, or Maybe Opening the Portals of Hell.”
https://www.wsj.com/articles/cern-is-seeking-secrets-of-the-universe-or-maybe-opening-the-portals-of-hell-1459800113
Perhaps the title is facetious (I cannot read the whole thing without logging in), but the point here is that all of this “particle smashing” may actually be more about accessing different dimensions, and not just “conspiracy theorists” are suspicious.
Livescience even reported that UFOs were disrupting CERN’s investigation of the ‘god particle’:
https://www.livescience.com/17207-ufos-disrupting-search-god-particle.html
Could CERN be “messing” with interdimensional beings?
Going back to the Mandela Effect, conspiracy theories have emerged regarding how CERN and alternate realities are related:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/22/alternate-realities-and-trump-mandala-effect-and-what-cern-does.html
Tying it all together, there are some creepy prophecies in the Book of Daniel, about how the evil ones in power will “changes time and laws” (Daniel 7:25):
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (KJV)
https://biblehub.com/kjv/daniel/7-25.htm
If this conspiracy theory is true, why would the evil elite want to do such a thing? For one, it could be unintentional. Messing with dimensions might just interfere with our current reality in ways they cannot anticipate. But second, messing with time and these laws could deceive the masses – making people question history itself.
As stated in the novel 1984, “who controls the past, controls the future.”
Beings of Light
The point of this post it to show you that things are not all that they seem. When you think of demons, you probably think of atrocious creatures leering in the dark. In reality, though, demons may come off as “good” at first, or even “beings of light.”
In fact, when most think of aliens, they associate them with benevolence. Many hope and crave that aliens do exist, even getting tattoos and bumper stickers that firmly state “I want to believe.”
Ultimately, the more nihilistic and atheistic our society grows, the more people long to have something outside of themselves, hence the popularity of aliens.
In fact, today, it seems more people are likely to believe in ghosts and aliens (possibly demonic beings) than they are God:
https://entertainment.ie/trending/statistics-show-that-more-people-believe-in-ghosts-and-aliens-than-god-342325/
In other words, people are searching something outside of themselves, which often leads them to seek out something else…
Drug Trips and Mental Illness
As life becomes emptier, many seek out alternative means of exploration and happiness: drugs.
Today, you can simply explore /psychonaut or do a google search, and quickly you will find stories of “trips” where people encounter other entities, many times “beings of light.”
https://www.reddit.com/Psychonaut/comments/5l5cji/contact_with_entities_on_lsd/
Is it possible drugs are just a gateway into another reality?
On a darker note, though, you hear stories of people getting demonically possessed while on drugs or drinking. I mean, why do you think they call alcohol “spirts?”
I know, with my ex who was an alcoholic, I often encountered dark shadow people in his presence.
In addition, in the past, it was thought that mental illness was simply demonic possession. Today, that theory is re-emerging, as evidenced by many of the articles linked at the beginning of this post.
The Occult
Growing up, I participated in seances with my father. It is up to you to decide if you believe the following account or not.
When we did these seances, we consistently came into contact with different beings – one was a man, and one was “a little girl.”
Now, interestingly, the man was pretty mean – telling us he would kill us and things like that, but the little girl was “sweet” and “nice.” This led my dad to want to continue the seances, but I was suspicious.
It started getting bad when things were being thrown at us in our house, and I felt scared for my life. I told my dad I no longer wanted to do the seances, and we now know longer talk (for a lot of other reasons, as well).
I am now suspicious that “little girl” was just a being disguising itself to manipulate us.
In fact, when I hear about fortune tellers, mediums, and modern prophets, I am starting to think they may be getting real information at times, but they are being manipulated by demonic forces that can disguise themselves as good.
Think of it this way – demons may exist in a dimension that overlaps with ours, so they may *possess* information we cannot possibly know. People may trust these demons and be deceived by this.
Whether you believe this theory or not, the Vatican is on to it:
https://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2018/02/26/vatican-blames-fortune-tellers-for-300-increase-in-exorcism-demands-in-italy/
The Ultimate Conspiracy
Assuming demons are real, it is possible they can be used to manipulate the masses. Most of you know about Project Bluebeam.
Interestingly, “Project Bluebeam” is now an article gone from Wikipedia, but essentially, it is the belief that the elite will stage some type of alien invasion/rapture to fool people into mass obedience. You can find more information here:
https://www.disclose.tv/project-blue-beam-nasa-is-beta-testing-alien-invasion-314751
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serge_Monast
Even if this theory sounds outlandish, there are other reasons they might lie about “aliens” and other demonic entities:
1) Keep people doing and seeking drugs. Drugs feel good and can lead to possession. Brainwashed zombies are perfect for control.
2) Keep people invested in “aliens” as a salvation theory vs. true salvation through Jesus Christ (my one preaching part of this post).
3) They may be hiding information about space. Space may not be what we think it is.
4) To ultimately bring about the anti-Christ through a number of alien invasion tactics that may or may not align with Project Bluebeam. This is an interesting excerpt from the Serge Monast Wikipedia article:
“In 1994, he published Project Blue Beam (NASA), in which he detailed his claim that NASA, with the help of the United Nations, was attempting to implement a New Age religion with the Antichrist at its head and start a New World Order, via a technologically simulated Second Coming of Christ… He died of a heart attack in his home in December 1996, at age 51, the day after being arrested and spending a night in jail.[5]
Ultimately, it is up to you to decide.

2020.09.05 21:45 SnoozLap6 Article: The new breed of sex addicts who don't have sex!

Article:
The TLDR of article: (Note its from the UK)
There is a generation of pornography addicts that use porn over socializing and working. Ex, some addicts rather watch cam girls and cancel going out with friends. This generation of porn consumers are pushing the online porn market furiously hard.
A sex rehab centre has noticed two age groups with clients. Older patients engaging in destructive relationships. Younger patients (18-28 as of 2020) so fixated on online porn that they have no interest in real sex at all. These younger patients adamantly believe its physically impossible to experience any sexual-related intimacy. Often these addicts can’t become physically aroused due to reliance on porn-aided masturbation.
LA sex-therapist noted the following observation trhough his practice. Many Porn Addicts ~age 20 have not dated, and are simply coming home to watching porn. Some can’t image and have anxiety over body contact. Another damaging effect is many people do not know what their natural libido is because of their compulsive behaviour.
A key thing to recovery is behaviour regulation. Online porn has the potential to be everywhere, on your computer, phone, laptop, gaming console, etc. Everywhere so avoiding it is a difficult endeavor. Keeping aware of the depth of a relapse is the most important tool for long-term recovery.

OP: This article has truth to it, especially with the pedestalizing and imaging sex as a fantasy like experience. However the thoughts on recovery aren't exactly what NoFap and YBOP would highlight. Addiction recovery is a personal journey, the goals and challenges change the further along you go. Being over a year in recovery is different than the first month.

How do the Saudis promote their religious views? By investing heavily in building mosques, madrasas, schools, and Sunni cultural centers across the Muslim world. Indian intelligence says that in India alone, from 2011 to 2013, some 25,000 Saudi clerics arrived bearing more than $250 million to build mosques and universities and hold seminars. "We are talking about thousands and thousands of activist organizations and preachers who are in the Saudi sphere of influence," said Usama Hasan, a researcher in Islamic studies. These institutions and clerics preach the specifically Saudi version of Sunni Islam, the extreme fundamentalist strain known as Wahhabism or Salafism.
https://www.theweek.co.uk/87832/wahhabism-what-is-it-and-why-does-it-matter
How did it catch on?
Wahhabism ensured its modern-day survival largely through gaining the support of the Saudi royal family. The movement has a longstanding alliance with the family dating back to 1744 and helping to found the first Saudi State, the BBC reports.
Wahhabism found new life in the 20th century when Abdulaziz ibn Saud (who ruled from 1932 to '53) seized on it as a way of uniting the fractious tribes. In 1979 the family saw its tactical use as part of an anti-Soviet campaign in Afghanistan and encouraged young Muslim men to travel there to fight a jihad against the Russians. The Saudis began spending heavily on mosques, propaganda and teaching in order to spread the creed.
The US State Department estimates that over the past 40 years Riyadh has invested more than $10bn into charitable foundations as part of a programme to replace mainstream Sunni practices with a more extremist brand.
In 2013, Strasbourg's European Parliament declared Salafism/Wahhabism to be the main source of global terrorism, with a report linking it to the Benghazi attacks and the war in Syria among other atrocities. According to the Daily Telegraph, some 15 to 20 per cent of the $10bn set aside by Saudi Arabia to promote its favored form of Islam may have been diverted to al-Qaeda and other violent jihadists.

Later, I toured the large mosque I had seen when I first arrived. It cost $19 million to build, funded entirely by private donations. My host seemed excited and proud to show the building to me. I asked him if Saudi money funded the mosque. He demurred.
I was pretty sure I already knew the answer, so I asked if he could take me to see a more traditional mosque from this region of China.
After much prodding, we got in the car for a short drive. When we got out, all evidence of the Gulf had vanished. I stood on a dirt road lined with modest houses and shops. My host pointed toward a compound surrounded by a tall wall covered over in painted terra cotta. “Here it is.” We proceeded through the entrance into a small courtyard, an oasis of fruit trees and flowerpots, the perfect site for prayerful contemplation.
The mosque itself was much simpler than the Gulf-style mosque had been, made of wood and reflecting the themes of traditional Chinese architecture. The structure’s roof curled outward at its edges, while its open doorways permitted a view of the faithful praying inside. The religious services it housed conformed to what I was told was the ancient Sufi devotion mingled with traditional indigenous Chinese customs.

2020.08.23 15:00 Complex_Avocado_6479 Come on, we all know who killed Jeffrey Epstein - The main players behind the worldwide child trafficking scandal are none other than the secret services - CIA, MI6, Mossad. Here is a collection of evidence.

Original post by the u/TheGrainLantern.
Following the Epstein "suicide", it's more clear than ever that there is an organization which uses children in pedophilic sex parties, in order to blackmail and control powerful people. These children are frequently murdered by these sick individuals. Some can also be traumatized for the purpose of creating dissociative personalities so they can be mind-controlled. For a full breakdown of the worldwide scandals, see this list and this documentary - both of which are non-exhaustive and already out of date, such is the scale of this operation.
Common traits of these scandals are:
Now ask yourself, what is the one type of organization which can accomplish all of these things? There is only one.
The secret services.
The only organization which would have the authority and the means to accomplish all these feats, to assert such a degree of control over all the outcomes, is military intelligence. Other entities may be involved - billionaires for example - but money can only accomplish so much. Yes you can purchase a newspaper and have journalists write something, but you can't just pay someone to murder someone in a prison and make it look like suicide. Prison security need to be moved, clearance needs to be given. People need to be so scared that they keep their mouth shut. The only way you do this is by having significant amounts of money and resources at your disposal, but also authority over them.
Here is a collection of evidence supporting this assertion:
  1. Epstein flew a helicopter which shared tail numbers with a covert US military helicopter used by DynCorp. Dyncorp has a history of child trafficking scandals in many countries and is owned by Steve Feinberg (US intelligence board). Epstein's pilot is rumored to be in US intelligence and a Mossad agent, Junkerman, has flown on his jet. Summary. Epstein's close associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, is the child of media baron Robert Maxwell, who had links to British, Israeli, and Russian secret service. Epstein got off very lightly in 2008 for sexually abusing underage girls. The current labor secretary, Alexander Acosta, gave him a very lenient deal. Who can pull the strings to make this happen? Either Acosta is a part of the conspiracy, or another entity was forcing his hand - the only entity that is capable of doing so is military intelligence. AG William Barr worked in Epstein's legal team. Barr's father, Donald Barr, was in the OSS, which was the precursor to the CIA. Donald Barr gave Epstein his first job as a math teacher in an elite, politically connected school, even though Epstein did not have any qualifications or even a college degree. And assuming that Epstein didn't commit suicide, whoever had him killed was able to make a murder look like suicide, inside a prison, while the target was under suicide watch. Guards were apparently told to leave the area due to maintenance, and CCTV camera footage was either prevented or confiscated Source. Only military intelligence operatives have the resources to pull this off. Epstein's murder, whether real or faked, was the CIA disposing of a loose asset.
  2. It is a documented historical fact that the CIA engaged in child trafficking, including child sexual abuse, to blackmail useful officials, in the MK Ultra project. Source 1 Source 2. Note that only a small portion of the documents for this project ever came to light - the majority were destroyed.
  3. The Franklin Scandal. The ring leader of the pedophile blackmail ring, Larry King, had ties to US Intelligence. Source, page 34 In a subsequent scandal involving a "call-boy ring" in Washington D.C., an associate of King's, Craig Spence, committed suicide in a hotel. The mysterious Spence was "a CIA asset" and had bugged his home so he could blackmail powerful people. Source, page 279
  4. Paul Bonacci, who was awarded $1m by a judge for the sexual abuse done to him by Larry King, was also involved in a MK-Ultra follow-up mind control operation called Monarch (also confirmed by other survivors). He directly named Colonel Michael Aquino as one of the leads in the project. Aquino worked for navy intelligence. Around this time, allegations of child sex abuse were being leveled at army bases all over the United States. Source. So it seems, at least in the 70s and 80s, there was a dedicated program by the US military for child trafficking, sexual abuse, and mind control.
  5. The Belgium Scandal. A key witness, Regina Louf, alleged that convicted child rapist and murderer Marc Dutroux kidnapped children, including her, for businessman Michel Nihoul. Louf alleged that Nihoul had hidden cameras and that she had to make sure her rapists were in the camera's field of view. Louf's allegations were independently corroborated by many other witnesses, many of whom could give intimate case details such as room layouts. Nihoul was found not guilty, after judges overruled the jury's guilty verdict. Louf was also discredited by the Belgian government's own TV station, which labelled her a deranged liar. The case was the subject of a massive public outcry after police made a huge number of serious mistakes, such as even neglecting to search a basement after children's voices could be heard - this mistake led to the children starving to death in their basement cell. Many witnesses related to the case died in mysterious circumstances, such as committing suicide despite having no personal problems, or having car accidents.Source 1 Source 2 Again, which organization has the ability to influence national media, influence senior judges, influence police, and kill people to make it look like suicide or an accident? The security services.
  6. The Hampstead cover-up, in which two children related that their father forced them to engage in satanic ritual abuse at their school and at a church, as well as pedophilic parties with their father's friends, including cutting off babies' heads. Babies were supplied to the cult by social services. An experienced police detective is on record saying he believed the children and their mother. The authorities quickly closed ranks on the situation, with a judge removing the children from their mother, which goes against lawful procedure. Medical examinations by experienced professionals proved that the children had been sexually abused (vaginal and anal examinations). Crucial evidence was withheld from hearings. Child protection authorities and the Home Office was silent and inactive. To cover up information related to the case, all major media outlets were served with a defense advisory (DA) notice - a DA notice is an official request to news editors not to publish or broadcast items on specified subjects which would compromise military or intelligence operations. Source.
  7. In 1987 a satanic cult in Washington D.C., the Finders, was investigated after children were seen being apparently trafficked by two well-dressed men. At the properties of the Finders, investigators discovered evidence of satanic ritual abuse, blackmail, sophisticated communication technology, and explosives. The CIA took over the investigation and declared it an "internal matter". No further investigation was permitted. Source
  8. Ronald Bernard confesses in an emotional interview about having to sacrifice children to prove yourself as a psychopath in the financial elite. He also says that "secret services are actually criminal organizations ... they will stop at nothing. They have their flows of money from trading drugs, weapons, people. All that money has to come from somewhere, everything has to be financed." Source
  9. The Jersey scandal (full breakdown here). A policeman, Lenny Harper, investigating a children's care home (which Jimmy Savile frequently visited), claims he recovered forensic evidence that children were killed and incinerated in the basement. In March 2008, BBC television personality Jimmy Savile started legal proceedings against The Sun newspaper which had, wrongly he claimed, linked him in several articles to the child abuse scandal at Haut de la Garenne. Savile initially denied visiting Haut de la Garenne, but later admitted that he had done so, following the publication of a photograph showing him at the home surrounded by children. The States of Jersey Police said that in 2008 an allegation of an indecent assault by Savile at the home in the 1970s had been investigated, but there had been insufficient evidence to proceed. The forensic evidence found on the site was repeatedly compromised when it was sent to the UK for analysis. Lenny Harper received many death threats and was attacked by Jersey's local media, and some national media outlets. A journalist who later tried to investigate was arrested, held for 12 hours at Heathrow airport, and banned from the island. Vice article The list of suspects in the case include British government officials. According to Harper, Chief Minister for Jersey Frank Walker (OBE) warned Harper that his investigation could "bring the government down". In September 2008, the investigation team was changed. David Warcup, the leader of the new team, said there was "no evidence" that children were killed at Haut and that Harper's information he gave to the press were not accurate. Warcup said that the bones were animal bones and that the 60 milk teeth had come out naturally. Telegraph article 2 The new team also claimed that a child's skull was actually a piece of coconut (citing no scientific analysis), going against statements made by two anthropologists that it was a skull fragment as it contained collagen, and moreover that it was "fleshed and fresh" when it had been burned. Source Warcup said that the bones which were found could have been hundreds of years old, however an expert told Harper that they could only be a few decades old. Source 2 MP John Hemming said that he had no doubt that there were efforts to cover up the murder evidence. BBC article
  10. A man called Carl Beech claimed that in the 70s and 80s he and a number of other boys were raped by powerful people in London. He made claims specifically against twelve people, including the former Members of Parliament Harvey Proctor (who had already been convicted of gross indecency for having sex with teenage boys) and Greville Janner, the former Home Secretary Leon Brittan, the former Prime Minister Edward Heath, the former Chief of the Defence Staff Lord Bramall, the former Director of the Secret Intelligence Service Maurice Oldfield, and the former Director-General of MI5 Michael Hanley. Beech claimed that he was abused at a number of places including Dolphin Square, the Carlton Club, and various other places in the Home Counties. Beech also falsely claimed that the group murdered three children: two for sexual pleasure, and a third to intimidate the others. Proctor's solicitors told him that Beech had alleged that he had seen Proctor repeatedly stab a 12-year-old boy before strangling him to death, and that he himself had been raped by Proctor. The officer leading the investigation, Detective Superintendent Kenny McDonald, said in December 2014 that experienced officers had concluded that the allegations were "credible and true". McDonald was later criticised for the statement, and it was retracted. The investigating team was changed, no further evidence was found, and Beech was sentenced to 19 years in prison. Source
  11. Natacha Jaitt, a playboy model, alleged that she had evidence of a VIP child abuse ring, involving journalists and politicians in Argentina. She tweeted that "Notice: I will not commit suicide. I won’t be bought off or drown in a bath tub, nor will I shoot myself in the head. So, if that happens: I wasn’t me. Save this tweet." She was later found dead of an apparent drug overdose - her lawyer and brother suspect foul play. Source
  12. Former police officer Mark Minnie wrote an explosive book detailing a pedophile ring in South African government. Minnie, 58, was found with a bullet to his head, but many people are refusing to believe the police version - that he took his own life at the farm of a friend near the coastal city of Port Elizabeth. "The fact that the suicide note was found doesn't necessarily mean he wrote it willingly. I mean he could've written it under duress. The fact that he shot himself with someone else's pistol already raises questions," investigative journalist and author Jacques Pauw told South Africa's radio 702. Source
  13. Imane Fadil was a Moroccan ex-model who became a celebrity after becoming a key witness in the 2013 “Rubygate” trials which accused the media mogul and ex-Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi of “child prostitution”. Fadil was also looking to be a witness in a related investigation (dubbed “Ruby ter”) that is still ongoing. In 2018, Fadil claimed in an interview that Berlusconi’s infamous “parties” lead to dark, satanic rituals. She was also in the process of writing a tell-all book about Rubygate and the dark secrets of Berlusconi. The name of the projected book was quite evocative: I Met the Devil. However, in the past weeks, things dramatic turn. Imane Fadil died in a hospital room in Milan on March 1st after a month of agony. Media sources reported her death only 15 days after the fact, mostly because authorities announced the opening of a homicide investigation. Indeed, the cause of Fadil’s death is currently believed to be “murder by radioactive poisoning”. Source

2020.08.23 04:16 CapeGiratina Lockdowns are morally bankrupt because they cost more lives than they save. Here’s why that is.

I make the following assertions.

Lockdown deaths outweigh COVID-19 deaths globally.

And it’s not close.

I’ll start with the easiest one to prove - global lockdown deaths outweighing COVID-19 deaths. As of today, there’s approximately ~807K COVID-19 deaths.

Lockdowns cause drug overdoses and suicide, adding tens of thousands to the US death toll.

Back in first world countries, lockdowns cause a number of second-order deaths.

COVID deaths steal months. Lockdown deaths steal decades.

Lockdowns are killing many due to delayed health procedures.

Hospitals all across the country shut down every elective procedure - which in medical jargon means "anything that isn't immediately life-threatening" thus almost every procedure. Only NYC got overwhelmed, and even that was due to poor logistics as the hospital ships were never filled.
Plenty of elective procedures catch a condition at a treatable stage that if delayed for months becomes life-threatening. That causes additional deaths. This article from Lancet makes an estimate at how many lives these elective procedures cost.
"Across the three different scenarios, compared with pre-pandemic figures, we estimate a 7·9–9·6% increase in the number of deaths due to breast cancer up to year 5 after diagnosis, corresponding to between 281 (95% CI 266–295) and 344 (329–358) additional deaths. For colorectal cancer, we estimate 1445 (1392–1591) to 1563 (1534–1592) additional deaths, a 15·3–16·6% increase; for lung cancer, 1235 (1220–1254) to 1372 (1343–1401) additional deaths, a 4·8–5·3% increase; and for oesophageal cancer, 330 (324–335) to 342 (336–348) additional deaths, 5·8–6·0% increase up to 5 years after diagnosis. For these four tumour types, these data correspond with 3291–3621 additional deaths across the scenarios within 5 years."

Lockdowns cause a spike in domestic abuse.

Then there’s domestic abuse. It was such a serious issue it was brought up at Governor's Cuomo press conference. This clip of Cuomo speaking is where the "XXX, very bad, not death" meme comes from.
(Now you see why anti-lockdowners absolutely loathed Cuomo when he suddenly changed his mind and said it was ok for everyone to protest.).

Lockdowns have not prevented deaths. Most people who would have died of COVID-19 have already died.

Ok, what about a ceiling on deaths in a full-blown “everyone gets COVID-19” scenario?
First, with vaccines, you need to inject about 60%-85% of random people in order to achieve herd immunity. I’m assuming that’s not in dispute.
But, COVID-19 does not affect people randomly. This paper has an argument that COVID-19 organic spread results in “herd immunity thresholds around 10-20%, considerably lower than the minimum coverage needed to interrupt transmission by random vaccination.”
The TL;DR of why is - a relatively small portion of people are in the “crossroads of life” so to speak. These are the superspreaders. But, the superspreaders are also the first to get infected - and by extension - first to become immune. This non-random distribution greatly lowers the herd immunity threshold.
“OK, but this is all theoretical!” Look at how strikingly similar the graphs of NY, AZ, FL, TX are - TX is less clean because unlike the other states it’s not a single metropolis. NYC has 26% antibody seroprevalence and virtually no new COVID-19 cases. FL is estimated at 21% having had COVID-19. AZ at 22%, TX at 21%.
You might argue this is all seasonal, but here’s perhaps the greatest piece of circumstantial evidence that the low herd immunity threshold is real: Louisiana. Louisiana is directly in the middle of Florida and Texas. Despite being functionally identical, and also being a FL/NY/AZ-type metro-state, LA never exhibited the same peaks. But, they did have a mini-surge all the way back in March due to Mardi Gras. This thread explains the significance of LA for herd immunity.
What is the final death rate, once COVID-19 has ripped through? Well, we are only a little over 60% to reaching universal 20% seroprevalence, which means we have about 20MM cases “to go.” The highest death rates were in the New England states. If we take the death rate of recent surge states, we come with approximately “more” 50K deaths to go in the US. As callous as it sounds, 250K deaths, primarily in people who had less than one year to live, is a lot less than the predicted global lockdown deaths, and a lot fewer years of lives estimated to be lost to lockdowns.

Metacritic: 71/100 (18 critics)
As with other movies, the scores are set to change as time passes. Meanwhile, I'll post some short reviews on the movie.
The sheer meticulousness of Nolan’s grand-canvas action aesthetic is enthralling, as if to compensate for the stray loose threads and teasing paradoxes of his screenplay — or perhaps simply to underline that they don’t matter all that much. “Tenet” is no holy grail, but for all its stern, solemn posing, it’s dizzy, expensive, bang-up entertainment of both the old and new school. Right now, as it belatedly crashes a dormant global release calendar, it seems something of a time inversion in itself.
-Guy Lodge, Variety
Altogether, it makes for a chilly, cerebral film — easy to admire, especially since it's so rich in audacity and originality, but almost impossible to love, lacking as it is in a certain humanity.
-Leslie Felperin, The Hollywood Reporter
It may echo the cleverness of Rian Johnson’s “Looper” and Shane Carruth’s “Primer” in its dizzying disregard for linear chronology, but the plotting is muddled rather than complex, with less to say about the flow of time than “Interstellar” or “Memento.” In the end, “Tenet” isn’t one of Nolan’s most satisfying films. But after I’ve seen it four or five more times, maybe I’ll change my mind.
-Nicholas Barber, The Wrap
The depth, subtlety and wit of Pattinson and Debicki’s performances only becomes fully apparent once you know where Tenet is going, or perhaps that should be where it’s been. Still confused? Don’t be. Or rather do be, and savour it. This is a film that will cause many to throw up their hands in bamboozlement – and many more, I hope, to clasp theirs in awe and delight.
-Robbie Collin, The Telegraph: 5/5
"Tenet" is big and ambitious, but Nolan is more caught up in his own machinations than ever before.
-Mike McCahill, IndieWire: C-
Tenet is not Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece, but it is another thrilling entry into his canon. In a world where blockbuster cinema is dominated by franchises and sequels, it serves as an accomplished demonstration of the pleasures of unconnected and non-serialised original storytelling. But while it does tread new ground, Tenet is the ‘safest’ film from Christopher Nolan in some years. Following two recent ambitious movies from the filmmaker, Tenet feels a little conservative, as if Nolan’s style is a franchise rather than a framework. Despite this, it remains more interesting than most other tentpole movies and acts as a beacon for the director’s strengths. In a time when cinema is struggling through arguably its most difficult time in its entire history, Tenet works as a fantastic reminder of what blockbuster filmmaking can aspire to be, and why it’s best experienced in a huge, dark room.
-Matt Purslow, IGN: 8.0 "great"
No other artform could quite present such a collision of time, place, idea and emotion, and it’s clear that Nolan’s pure intent is to give us the utmost of what this medium can uniquely provide. At its best this is a ride that manages to be viscerally thrilling while still being emotionally and intellectually engaging, all in ways that are truly, uniquely cinematic. In other words, say what you will about the tenets of Tenet, at least it has an ethos.
-Jason Gorber, /FILM: 7.5
Once again seizing control of the medium, Nolan attempts to alter the fabric of reality, or at least blow the roof off the multiplexes. Big, bold, baffling and bonkers.
-Alex Godfrey, Empire: 4/5
The world is more than ready for a fabulous blockbuster, especially one that happens to feature face masks and chat about going back in time to avoid catastrophe. It’s a real shame Tenet isn’t it.
-Catherine Shoard, The Guardian: 2/5
Though it’s sometimes hamstrung by clumsy dialogue – a necessary evil, perhaps, given how much Nolan needs to explain – Tenet is rarely less than thrilling to watch. It’s a challenging, ambitious and genuinely original film packed with compelling performances – Washington and Debicki are especially excellent – which confirms Nolan as the master of the cerebral blockbuster. And if you can, you need to see this visually stunning movie on a big screen.
-Nick Levine, NME: 5/5
The result is that as impressive as the craftsmanship and originality of Tenet is, other aspects of the movie prove to be frustrating. It's still a great movie and a true big-screen experience, but it does stop it reaching the heights of Nolan's best work.
-Ian Sandwell, Digital Spy: 4/5
Seek it out, if only to marvel at the entertainingly inane glory of what we once had and are in danger of never having again. Well, that and the suits.
-Jessica Kiang, The New York Times
All in all, Tenet delivers a mix of outstanding performances and unforgettable inverted sequences in another masterpiece of film making that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
-Nola Ojomu, METRO: 4/5
Nolan devotees will still get a kick out of Tenet’s cerebral ideas and no doubt forgive its overloaded climax, while the more casual cinemagoer will get plenty of bang for their buck amid its vast visuals (cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema drenches the Nordic location in cool slate greys, while one clifftop shot of the Amalfi Coast is utterly beguiling). And after five months stuck in front of the small screen, maybe being a little overwhelmed is no bad thing. But it’s hard to escape the sense that less might have been more.
-Phil De Semlyen, Time Out: 3/5
BONUS:
I can’t even explain it. You literally just have to watch it. It’s very fire.

I have bolded some of the more interesting connections and information, but there could be much more that I overlooked. I hope something here strikes an interest in someone and maybe we can get more investigations out of this. Please, if you know anything more about any of these people than what is presented here, post below. I am working off of the unredacted black book found here: https://www.coreysdigs.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Jeffrey-Epsteins-Little-Black-Book-unredacted.pdf
W
Wachtmeister, Eric: Swedish Internet entrepreneur. He was the founder of the now defunct social media website, A Small World. The Weinstein Company, Robert Pittman, and Alexander von Furstenberg were all heavy investors and are all listed in Epstein’s black book (check out previous threads for further information). Early in his career, Wachtmeister was an investment banker who worked for Rothschild & Co. and Lehman Brothers. His father was Count Wilhelm Wachtmeister, a Swedish diplomat, ambassador to the United States, and close friend of George H.W. Bush.
Wagner, David: Not enough info.
Wainwright, Rupert: British movie director and producer.
Waksal, Sam: Pharmaceutical entrepreneur and CEO. Despite the nerdy sounding job description, Waksal hobnobs with celebrities. He dated Martha Stewart’s daughter, is a friend of Ronald Perelman’s ex-wife, and counts Mick Jagger among his friends (https://www.nytimes.com/2002/01/24/business/for-imclone-drug-entrepreneur-a-past-of-celebrity-and-notoriety.html). In 2002 and 2003, Waksal pleaded guilty to securities fraud, bank fraud, obstruction of justice, perjury, conspiracy, and wire fraud. He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2003. He was released in 2009.
Wallace, Mike: Television journalist best known for his role as lead correspondent on the news program 60 Minutes. Longtime 60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager, was forced to step down from his position after Ronan Farrow’s article in The New Yorker that mentioned Fager’s sexual misconduct (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/as-leslie-moonves-negotiates-his-exit-from-cbs-women-raise-new-assault-and-harassment-claims) towards Sarah Johansen, an intern at the time (now a producer) who said that the atmosphere of 60 Minutes was like that of a “boy’s club.” Epstein hosted a reception for Wallace at his NYC mansion back in 1997 (https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeffrey-epstein-had-his-own-lodge-at-interlochens-prestigious-arts-camp-for-kids-in-michigan). Wallace can be seen in this photo (date uncertain, but must have been 1991 or earlier) with Robert Maxwell (Ghislaine’s father) and Donald Trump (https://twitter.com/rudyhavenstein/status/1162119147746029568).
Walters, Barbara: Famous television personality/broadcast journalist known for 20/20, The View, and berating Corey Feldman for trying to “damage an entire industry” when he came out against pedophilia in Hollywood (https://pagesix.com/2017/10/18/barbara-walters-faces-backlash-after-corey-feldman-clip-resurfaces/). Walters goes way back with Ghislaine and her family, as she swam around the same social circles as Ghislaine’s father, Robert Maxwell (https://www.newyorksocialdiary.com/this-was-then-malcolm-forbes-70th-birthday-part-i/). Here is a picture from Steve Forbes’s 70th birthday party (https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/robert-maxwell-barbara-walters-and-merv-adelson-news-photo/81525793) that shows Barbara walking just behind Robert Maxwell. Barbara is pictured here (https://pagesix.com/2020/07/02/pre-arrest-ghislaine-maxwell-with-her-famous-friends/#7) with Ghislaine and some others (7th picture down). We can only wish her the most agonizing of deaths.
Ward, Kevin: A 34-year veteran of the NYPD who was eventually promoted to Borough Commander. Currently the Vice President of Security and Operations for Bryant Park Corporation. Received a Master’s Degree from Harvard, which is extremely rare for a law enforcement official. It’s odd that Epstein would have three different telephone numbers for such a decorated member of law enforcement. Interesting.
Warner, Ozzie: No info found.
Warnford-Davis, Ms Mandy: The former sister-in-law of Ghislaine’s brother, Kevin. Kevin and his wife, Pandora, divorced after more than 20 years of marriage. Mandy is Pandora’s sister. She works as a lawyer in London.
Wasserman, Casey & Laura: Casey is an entertainment and sports agent executive. Grandson of Hollywood mogul and mafia-linked Lee Wasserman. Laura Zifren is Casey’s wife. She is a movie music supervisor. Casey and Laura both appear on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” flight log (https://archive.org/stream/EpsteinFlightLogsLolitaExpress/Jeffrey-Epstein-Flight-Logs-in-PDF-format_djvu.txt) during the infamous Africa trip which featured the likes of Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, and Chris Tucker. Casey donates a lot of time and money to the Clinton Foundation and considers Bill Clinton to be a close friend and his philanthropic “mentor” (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/bill-clinton-casey-wasserman-reveal-590405). The Wassermans have donated between $10 and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation (https://www.clintonfoundation.org/contributors?category=%2410%2C000%2C001+to+%2425%2C000%2C000). The Wassermans have set up a charity called The Wasserman Foundation through which they donate money to a number of different causes, including several children’s groups (http://www.wassermanfoundation.org/giving/).
Wassong, David: Managing Director for Soros (yes, that Soros) Fund Management who has worked for Soros for over 20 years (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-10-01/soros-spins-out-private-equity-team-pledging-up-to-2-billion). Here’s a lovely picture (https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/david-wassong-managing-director-of-soros-fund-management-news-photo/129267700?adppopup=true) of Wassong with Ghislaine Maxwell from 2011. There’s nothing weird about it except for Ghislaine’s eye-catching earrings, which bare a striking resemblance to pedophile symbolism (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3560069/The-symbols-pedophiles-use-signal-sordid-sexual-preferences-social-media.html). David’s father, Dan, was a chronic sexual harasser of his secretaries (https://www.nytimes.com/1995/08/05/nyregion/a-sexual-harasser-his-friends-don-t-recognize-the-description.html). Perhaps sexual deviancy runs in the family.
Wastnage, Lucy: Wife of David Tang. Already listed earlier under ‘Tang, Mr David and Lucy Wastnag.’ Copy and pasted from my ‘T-V’ thread… David was a Hong Kong businessman who founded the Shanghai Tang fashion chain and several restaurants that attract the elite. Tang was a philanthropist who was involved in several charities, including Youth Outreach (YO), a charitable organization started in Hong Kong by Reverend Peter Newberry. This charity’s goal was to help at-risk youths (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/hkedition/2017-09/15/content_32018378.htm). Tang was considered one of the most well-connected people in London. He and his wife, Lucy, counted Prince Andrew, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York (Prince Andrew’s ex-wife), Kevin Spacey, the Duke of Marlborough, and Mick Jagger among their friends (https://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/lucy-tang-on-top-the-highs-and-lows-of-a-party-girl-6540808.html). Tang vehemently defended Prince Andrew in 2011 when his relationship with Epstein was made public (https://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/theyve-been-tang-oed-sir-david-tang-sets-the-record-straight-6383974.html). Two years later, Ghislaine celebrated her 51st birthday at China Tang, David’s restaurant at the Dorchester Hotel. Despite the backlash Prince Andrew received for counting Epstein among his friends, he attended Ghislaine’s birthday, along with former Labour minister Shaun Woodward and wife Camilla, the Earl and Countess of Derby, Dorrit Moussaieff, the diamond heiress/wife of the president of Iceland, Tamara Beckwith, and John Eliasch, multi-millionaire boss of sports firm Head. Every single one of those people appear in Epstein’s contacts. Epstein had 16 phone numbers, two email addresses, and three street addresses listed under David and Lucy’s names. David Tang died in 2017.
Waterman, Felicity: Model and actress who was a client of Elite Modeling Agency, along with Epstein/Maxwell pals Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum and many other famous models.
Watson, Victoria: Secretary at De Cadenet Motor Racing Limited (https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/9iGn2N_d0fDUZjAwXR1KFgM4qLU/appointments), a company owned by former race car driver Alain de Cadenet, who was listed earlier in Epstein’s black book.
Webb, Veronica: Supermodel. Former Victoria’s Secret (Les Wexner) model.
Weidenfeld, Lord: Founder of Weidenfeld and Nicolson publishing company. Weidenfeld (1919-2016) was a tremendous supporter of Israel and Oxford University. Weidenfeld was close friends with the Rothschilds. For more info on Weidenfeld’s deep-rooted connection with the Rothschilds and Israel, check out this wonderful Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=368&v=N-0ZTc42PnU&feature=emb_logo). It’s very well-researched and connects all the dots. Other high-ranking friends of Weidenfeld included German Chancellor Angela Merkel and former U.S. Secretary of State (and should-be war criminal) Henry Kissinger.
Weinberg, Jason: Top Hollywood talent manager who represents some of the biggest names in movies and television. Weinberg held his 50th birthday at a restaurant in Easthampton, NY (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/rambling-reporteharvey-weinstein-katie-holmes-more-flock-east-hamptons-palm-restaurant-jason-weinb). Attendees included Harvey Weinstein and actress Uma Thurman, the ex-fiance of ARK Academy founder and possible pedophile and child trafficker, Arpad Busson. Weinberg has been pictured with Peggy Siegal, the publicist who helped Epstein get into elite parties after he was convicted of procuring an underage girl for prostitution. They likely know each other because they were both trained by legendary Hollywood publicist Bobby Zarem.
Weinstein, Bob: Bob is Harvey Weinstein’s brother and a top movie producer and Hollywood executive. Bob has denied any knowledge of his brother’s seemingly endless sexual harassment charges and has publicly rebuked Harvey. Bob has been accused of harassment by Amanda Segel, a female showrunner (https://variety.com/2017/tv/news/bob-weinstein-sexual-harassment-1202592165/).
Weintraub, Harriet: Founder of public relations firm HWPR (http://hwpr.com/about-us/). Was once in business with Epstein enabler Peggy Siegal (http://orbmagazine.com/the-orbitepeggy-siegal-is-no-longer-the-owner-of-the-peggy-siegal-company/).
Westheimer, Ruth Dr: Better known as Dr. Ruth, the popular sex therapist and TV personality.
Weymouth, Mrs Lally: Senior associate editor of The Washington Post. Eldest child of Katherine Graham, the publisher who ran her family’s newspaper, The Washington Post, from 1963-1991. Lally is best known for throwing huge bipartisan parties at her house in the Hamptons. This article (https://nypost.com/2017/07/10/why-ordinary-americans-hold-politicians-and-media-in-contempt-all-in-one-hamptons-party/) does a great job of detailing who goes to these parties (ex: Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner partying with George Soros, Soros partying with David Koch, etc) and the fact that behind closed doors, the same people who publicly insult each other from both sides of the aisle, are actually friends and just laughing at us for believing their theatrics. AGAIN, THE WHOLE IDEA OF PARTISANSHIP IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT. STOP ALIGNING WITH ONE SIDE. IT’S US VS. THEM. THAT’S IT.
White, Somers: Former model and advertising executive. Married to Jonathan Farkas, heir to the Alexander’s department stores fortune. Named to the Commission on Presidential Scholars by Donald Trump in 2019. Pictured here (https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/amy-fine-collins-suzanne-johnson-ghislaine-maxwell-somers-news-photo/1169681593?adppopup=true) with Ghislaine Maxwell.
White, Victoria: Former wife of Lord Gordon White, Texas businessman Tom O’Gara, and famed Hollywood producer Robert Evans.
White, Michael: Likely the theatemovie producer or the British journalist who was the associate editor of The Guardian until 2016 and a regular commentator on BBC. Could be either one.
White O’Gara, Victoria: See Victoria White above.
Whitworth, Alan & Wendy: Wendy Whitworth is a managing editor with ties to Ghislaine and her family. She was managing editor of Remembering for the Future: The Holocaust in An Age of Genocide, an assortment of Holocaust-centered articles, which was released in 2001. Ghislaine Maxwell’s mother, Elisabeth, was the editor-in-chief of the publication. Ghislaine and her sisters, Isabel and Christine, are listed as financial sponsors and committee coordinator (https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/bfm%3A978-1-349-66019-3%2F1.pdf). The honorary president of the publication is Elie Wiesel, the famous authoHolocaust survivor who also appears in Epstein’s book and was also accused of sexual harassment. I believe her husband Alan is an economic adviser, but I’m not entirely sure.
Wiatt, Jim: Former CEO at William Morris, a major talent agency.
Wienberg, Anouska & Mark: Anouska is a hotelier and interior designer. Her husband, Mark, is a financier who co-founded J. Rothschild Assurance, which later became St. James’s Place Wealth Management, along with Jacob Rothschild (https://www.gettyimages.com/photos/lord-weinberg?mediatype=photography&phrase=lord%20weinberg&sort=best). Mark was the honorary treasurer of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and still had a role as one of the Vice Presidents as of 2012 (https://www.nspcc.org.uk/globalassets/documents/annual-reports/nspcc-annual-report-2012.pdf), making this the 12 billionth connection between known pedophile and child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and the NSPCC.
Wiesel Dr Eli and Marion: Wiesel was a famous author, Holocaust survivor, and Nobel Peace Prize winner, but he also supposedly sexually harassed a teenager at a charity event (https://www.newsweek.com/elie-wiesel-me-too-account-690891). Wiesel had longstanding ties to the Maxwell family due to their mutual interest in writing about the Holocaust (https://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/09/business/media/elisabeth-maxwell-widow-who-reinvented-herself-as-holocaust-expert-dies-at-92.html), (https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/bfm%3A978-1-349-66019-3%2F1.pdf). Marion is also a Holocaust survivor and was Elie’s wife.
Wigram Lionel and Lydia: Lionel is a producer who has worked on the Harry Potter films and several Guy Ritchie movies. Lydie is his wife.
Wigram, Lionel: See above.
Williams Alexandra & Nick: Alexandra is the daughter of Michael Heseltine, who was previously listed in Epstein’s ‘black book.’ Michael Heseltine is a British businessman and politician who served in various roles in government for British PMs Margaret Thatcher and John Major. Heseltine was a friend of Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father. Heseltine invested in Conservative Parliament member Harvey Proctor’s business after Proctor was forced to resign after it was revealed he had sexual relationships with and took nude pictures of male prostitutes aged 17-21 at his home (source: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/members-interests-top-tories-lose-on-proctors-shop-the-retailer-1445666.html). At the time, it was illegal to have same-sex relations with prostiutes under the age of 21. Her siblings, Annabel and Rupert, were listed in Epstein’s book as well. Check out the G-I thread for more info on them. Nick is her husband and the owner of Holloway’s auctioneers.
Williams-Ellis, David & Serena: David is a world-renowned British sculptor. His ex-wife, Serena, is an interior designer.
Willis, Rebecca: Not sure. Could be a climate change/environmental researcher in the UK.
Wilmot-Sitwell, Alex & Fi: Alex is a banker who was CEO of UBS Investment Bank and headed Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s businesses across Europe until 2018. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, incidentally, was the “largest corporate sponsor” for the super shady ARK Academy (https://arkacademy.org/node/51721) under Wilmot-Sitwell. ARK Academy, founded by Arpad Busson (listed in Epstein’s book - read more on him here: https://www.reddit.com/conspiracy/comments/cl34ju/arpad_busson_billionaire_businessman_or_possible/), could very well be a system of schools used for child abuse and child trafficking. Caroline Fiona Marr is Alex’s ex-wife.
Wilson, Carter: Barely any info found. Her name is Carter Wilson Hailey. This was her mother (https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/harrisonburg-va/margaret-wilson-6505891). Despite the family names/history, I couldn’t find anything on who Carter Wilson actually is.
Windisch Grazot, Manfred: The Windisch-Graetz family comes from a high nobility bloodline. Manfred, considered a prince, takes care of the management and finances of Elitaliana, the oldest Italian helicopter company (https://www.arbiter.it/articolo/il-guardaroba-di-manfred-windisch-graetz/). Member of the Order of Malta (https://www.smomembassytoslovenia.org/heliambulance-blessed-by-the-holy-fathe).
Windsor-Taylor, Tim & Helen: Helen is a member of the Royal Family. Her father is Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who is the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. Helen is a patron of CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity (https://web.archive.org/web/20110723085754/http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Aboutus/Mediacentre/Latestnews/Midsummerpartyraises400000). Her husband, Tim, is an art dealer.
Winn, Steve: Wynn is a billionaire Las Vegas hotel tycoon. Prince Harry was a guest of Wynn’s at his Encore resort. Served as the finance chair of the Republican National Committee from 2017-2018, but had to resign from that post and his position as CEO of Wynn Resorts due to dozens of allegations of sexual misconduct (https://www.newsweek.com/steve-wynn-claims-he-cant-punished-sexual-harassment-claims-because-he-no-longer-company-1472164) by his employees. Wynn and his wife (listed earlier in Epstein’s black book under ‘Hissom, Andrea’) are close friends of Donald and Melania Trump (source: https://www.pressreader.com/uk/scottish-daily-mail/20120901/281904475353844).
Winston, Elizabeth: Not sure. Best guess is a Texas-based conservationist.
Wipple, George: Entertainment and society television journalist.
Wolper, Carol: Author and screenwriter who has also written for Vogue magazine, where Epstein has countless connections.
Wong, Andy: Hong Kong financier and socialite. Hosted a Chinese New Year party in 2002 attended by Prince Andrew (https://www.tatler.com/article/lady-victoria-hervey-defends-duke-of-york-and-fled-epstein-apartment) where the theme was ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ (https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/meet-the-wongs-1529160.html). Here’s are some pictures from that party (https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/prince-andrew-hong-kong-fanancier-andy-wong-and-his-wife-news-photo/104171074 ; https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/sir-dai-llewelyn-amd-masked-girl-hong-kong-fanancier-andy-news-photo/104170961 ; https://www.shutterstock.com/editorial/image-editorial/chinese-new-year-party-hosted-by-andy-wong-and-wife-patti-at-the-reform-club-london-britain-26-jan-2002-375881ah). Here is a link with more pictures (https://www.rexfeatures.com/set/375881) from the party. Many Epstein contacts appear in these photos and also regularly attend the Wongs’ annual Chinese New Year parties. Buzz Aldrin (suspected upper echelon freemason) attended the party as well.
Wong, Theodore: Hedge fund manager. Founder of Constellar Capital LLC. Former managing director at Credit Suisse, a Swedish-based investment bank where Epstein had several contacts. Member of the Sunflower Children's Foundation and St. Jude’s Hospital (https://www.bloomberg.com/profile/person/7519446), two charities dedicated to sickly children.
Woodall, Trinny: Former drug addict socialite and friend of the wealthy and elite (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1216159/The-drug-addict-friends-haunt-Trinny-Woodall.html) who is now a British TV presenter and owner of makeup brand TRINNY LONDON.
Woods Emily & Carrie: Cary Woods is a movie producer. His ex-wife, Emily, is the chairman of J. Crew.
Woodward, Alexa: California-based attorney.
Woodward, Shaun & Camilla: Former British Member of Parliament (MP) and Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. Shaun is a good friend of Esther Rantzen, an English journalist and television presenter who founded ChildLine, a charity promoting child protection. Incidentally, Rantzen ignored allegations against Jimmy Savile, the notorious pedophile, celebrity, and Royal Family confidant. Rantzen also had an affair with Nicolas Fairbairn, the Scottish politician who was posthumously accused of chronic child abuse and has been linked to Elm Guest House, where politicans (allegedly) had sex with drugged up children (https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/13174992.former-judges-shock-over-qc-paedophile-ring-allegations/). Camilla is Woodward’s ex-wife of 28 years and daughter of former Conservative MP and supermarket heir Tim Sainsbury. Since their divorce, Shaun has entered a relationship with Luke Redgrave, a Hollywood camera operator.
Worcester, Marq & Marc of: Henry Somerset, 12th Duke of Beaufort and his ex-wife, Tracy. Henry is an English peer and landowner. Tracy is a former actress.

“A shocking turn of events at Wayne Manor as it’s revealed that former ward of Bruce Wayne Dick Grayson has moved to adopt a sixteen year old orphan.” The voice of GCN personality Vesper Fairchild buzzed on the television screen. “What do you have to say to this, Hal?”
Vesper readjusted her spectacles as she shifted in her seat. She tucked her short, brown hair behind her ears and turned to her co-caster, Hal Lake.
“Well, the most shocking factor is that Grayson himself is barely pushing 30.” The younger newscaster held an empty coffee mug between his hands. “I mean, sure, the family is wealthy beyond imagination, but it takes a certain amount of worldly wisdom to be a father. I’d know!”
“That you would, Hal. You take good care of your boys!” Vesper turned back to face the camera. “But with the press, and other inquisitive Americans surrounding Wayne Manor awaiting the young girl’s arrival, we have to ask: What’s really going on here?”
From the drawing room of the ancestral home of the Wayne family, Dick Grayson wasn’t paying much attention to the news report on the TV behind him. Instead, he glanced through a crack in the drawn curtains onto the front grounds of the manor. He watched the paparazzi swarming the far gate as they surrounded and accosted the black limousine that inched through. Behind the wheel was Alfred - butler, head of security, and homemaker - with a special passenger on board. Dick sighed and leaned back from the bay window. He looked back into the house. After the weeks of hard work and jumping through government hoops to make this happen, the day was finally here.
Stephanie was the daughter of Arthur Brown, the Penguin henchmen Dick had teamed up with to bring down Oswald Cobblepot. And while Penguin now sat squarely behind bars, dead to rights, that was only after he put a bullet in Arthur’s head for his betrayal, with Stephanie held close at hand to watch. Dick had promised Arthur that Stephanie would have a good life, and he intended to make good on that promise.
A lot of work had been done to get things ready for Stephanie’s arrival. Workmen had been in to renovate one of the spare bedrooms, the mansion had been cleaned from top-to-bottom, and Jason had already started on one of his signature roast dinners. All was going well and according to plan, and - other than Kate, who endlessly pursued the remainder of Penguin’s forces - they had all hands on deck.
With hesitation, Dick joined Jason, Helena and Betty in the foyer, the large wooden front door looming before them. The door cracked open and, as it swung, the cacophonous cries of the news media erupted through it. In charged Alfred in his black suit, sheltering a young girl who dragged a large suitcase behind her. Then, Alfred heaved the large door shut and the raving paparazzi were silent once more.
“Miss Brown, you’ve already met Mister Grayson,” Alfred began. “But I’d like to introduce you Miss Helena, Master Jason and Miss Betty.”
Stephanie had long, wavy blonde hair. She stood 5’6”, around Helena’s height, in denim shorts, a green top and a green plaid shirt. In her off-hand she clutched at her cell phone. She moved away from Alfred, standing by herself and set her suitcase down. She was exhausted and overstimulated, not at all used to the media attention she had just experienced.
Dick stepped forward and smiled. “We’ve tried our best to get things ready for you, Stephanie. I hope you can begin to feel as at home as you can.”
“Sure thing,” Stephanie replied. “And don’t worry, you don’t have to try so hard with me.” Leaving her suitcase where it fell, Stephanie pushed forward, moving between Betty and Jason and approaching the master staircase. “Where’s my room?”
“Excuse me?” Helena cocked her head, confused.
Stephanie stopped halfway up the stairs and turned to face her hosts. “You guys don’t care about me. You’ve had a shitty year, the city thinks you’re assholes, so you’re taking in a scared, innocent orphan off the streets to get some good publicity.”
Dick blinked, utterly stunned. He didn’t even realise their public image was that bad.
Betty stepped forward and laughed nervously. “Stephanie… I don’t think that’s what’s going on here.”
But Stephanie just smiled and shook her head. “Oh, I don’t mind. This whole deal? It’s too good to be true. Kids like me don’t just get adopted by billionaires.”
Jason shrugged. “Kids like us did.”
“I don’t know what to tell you,” Stephanie continued. “All I’m saying is that I’ve had a shit life. Mom died of cancer. Dad got shot last month. As long as there’s food on the table and a decent college fund in it for me, I’m happy to smile on cue and go on Good Morning Gotham and tell everyone how incredible you guys are.”
Jason looked to Dick, stunned and searching for a response. Dick stepped forward, “Stephanie, I’m sorry but--”
“Can one of you please just show me to my room,” she interrupted him. “It’s been a long… month.”
Silently, Alfred nodded and - taking her suitcase - joined Stephanie on the stairs.

Kate Kane stared at herself in the mirror. Her purse was on the floor, a box of chocolates and a book inside, both for Maggie Sawyer - her old flame and Dick’s police partner. She would go see her in a moment. For now she was focused on the fatigue in her eyes, something she caught just before leaving the bathroom. She dropped her purse, ran the faucet and splashed some cold water into her face. Then, looking back at her was the face of Batwoman. A mask over her face that meant she lived to protect. To do what others weren’t capable of doing.
At least, that’s what she always thought.
But she couldn’t even do that. A realisation was growing in the back of her mind that she couldn’t let come to the forefront anytime soon: the realisation that she couldn’t save everyone. The realisation that she could fail, no matter how hard she tried.
Kate clenched her eyes shut. Even if she’d fail she could get revenge. She could send Black Spider - the son of a bitch who broke Maggie’s legs when she tried to arrest his employer the Penguin - where he belonged.
She opened her eyes and saw herself looking back. Those tired eyes from before. The pale face of a woman who was losing a grip on what she stood for, on what she could do for others. But, right now, she could only be herself. She could only be Kate Kane. All she could do was be there for Maggie, a woman she was lucky to have, alive. Someone who could hold things in balance just a bit better than Kate could alone.
Kate went through the process of checking in and was led up to Maggie’s hospital room.
They hadn’t been able to see each other much over the past month. For good reason. Maggie’s legs had been decimated. Such pain… Kate had experienced plenty of pain in her life. But a pain like this she couldn’t even begin to imagine. Kate was there when it happened. Maggie’s shin bones had been completely snapped in half. The screams were brief but they sent tremors down Kate’s body. For a moment Kate thought Maggie had died from the injury, the way her body went limp, how suddenly her screams had fallen away from her mouth.
But Maggie survived. She couldn’t see her during the hospital trip, nor during the surgeries and treatments. The first time Kate saw her, Maggie’s face was pale as a sheet of paper. The skin of her legs that showed above the casts and wraps were the most purple Kate had ever seen on flesh. She couldn’t speak to her then. She was completely out cold, machines monitoring her breathing, giving her proper hydration.
But now, Maggie was awake. Bedridden. She had her phone so she texted Kate letting her know that she was allowed visitors and Kate immediately scheduled a visit to the hospital.
And now, she stood in the doorway, seeing Maggie sitting up further in bed, gazing out the window. Her legs vanished within the confines of massive casts and bands. They were each raised in traction, her body reclined just a bit to make herself comfortable. She slowly turned and smiled at Kate.
“Hey you,” Maggie said. Her eyes moved from Kate down to her legs. There was a certain sadness in her face despite her smile. Her gaze lingered on the casts. With a sigh she said, “Never thought I’d know what it’s like to lose feeling in something I use everyday.” She gave a sniff, one of acknowledgement. “You really don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” She glanced over at Kate.
While Kate knew Maggie’s predicament was the most important thing in the room right now, she could see Maggie’s double meaning in that statement. Her look solidified it. And Kate had often felt the same about the two of them. Kate gave her a soft smile in return. They had both messed up in the past. But now, there was a sliver of hope for Maggie’s recovery. And Kate wanted to be there for her every step of the way. Because, for the first time in a while, it seemed like nothing was gone. Everything just might be coming together.
Kate walked over to the bedside and pulled out her gifts. Maggie’s face lit up - Kate could never understand her love for mystery thrillers, they were all so generic - but it made her happy to see her happy.
“Oh, you are the best.” Maggie took the book and flipped it over scanning the backside blurb. “This is the new release.” Her eyes glanced away a moment. “I’m… surprised you remembered I like this series.”
Kate sat down in the chair facing the bed and handed her the chocolates as well. “How could I forget? When the subject of books came up you talked my ear off about it when we--” Kate had been reminiscing without noticing. She paused. “When we started walking back to my apartment. On our first date.”
Maggie laughed. “And you put up with every bit of it. I remember really liking that about you.”
Kate grinned. “The first mark of a suitable partner: whether or not they can put up with your bullshit interests.”
They both laughed. And then Maggie looked down at the box of chocolates and ran her thumbnail across the plastic covering. “They say my chances are good. Seventy percent chance I’ll be able to walk at least with assistance, including a smaller chance I’ll be able to without.” She paused. “But odds are I’ll never make a full recovery, the force will never take me back for active duty.”
Kate wanted to say something to that. Couldn’t think of anything. The surgeon, Dr Elliot had already told her as much privately, but the sheer look of depression on Maggie’s face left her lost for words. Her next thought was to take Maggie’s hand but… that just didn’t seem right. Not right now. So, all Kate could think to say was “I’m so sorry.” It was such a useless thing. But it helped that Maggie nodded, as if it was acceptable at the very least.
Maggie continued. “If the force ever takes me back, I’ll either be stuck at a desk, or a liability…”
“You can’t think about that right now,” Kate said.
“How can I not?”
“Because--” Kate breathed. “Because. Having a chance is something people dream of having. You’re getting the best care available. You will walk again.”
Maggie frowned. To Kate’s surprise she held out her hand. Her heart skipped a beat seeing her do it. “Will you visit me more often, Kate?” She closed her eyes. Kate could see it was hard for her to admit what she was about to. “I feel… I feel so alone in this. I don’t know what to do.”
Kate took Maggie’s hand and squeezed it tight.
“Only if you share some of that chocolate with me,” Kate teased. Maggie laughed and squeezed her hand back. Kate watched her smile, the way she clenched her eyes shut whenever she genuinely let out a hearty laugh. Kate admired her. Probably always would. If anything… she would be a friend. It was the least she could do. And it was something she wanted more than anything else right then.
“I’ll be here with you as much as I can,” Kate said. “You’re not alone.”

Kate stayed with Maggie a long while. They chatted about some stories they had both missed out on in each other’s lives, about how Kate was doing. They ate chocolate and made fun of a nonsense reality show.
She couldn’t stay forever though, as much as she wanted to. She kept glancing over at her legs; even though Maggie’s career prospects were seriously bleak, it didn’t mean she wasn’t lucky. If she were anyone else, anyone with fewer opportunities, fewer chances, she would have lost her legs entirely. If she was anyone with less willpower she could have died.
And the person who did this to her was still out there. The bastard who did this might do it to someone else. Kate might not have been able to save everyone. But what she could do was stop one person. If she focused. If she worked.
Kate and Maggie hugged one another. She promised she would visit again before her next surgery. She gathered her purse and left the room, and she did so, she wasn’t Kate Kane any longer. She was a hunter. An avenger. She would find Black Spider - pursue every lead she had - and make him pay.

Dick Grayson stood alone out the back of the mansion, looking off over the green acres of land, through the pristinely kept gardens. Even as everything had fallen into disarray over the last two years, he’d made sure to keep the gardens in good condition. He remembered when he first arrived at the manor as a boy, how Alfred had led him through the gardens. It was maintaining those topiaries and flora that kept him grounded the first few months, and though nowadays they paid gardeners to do the job, he still took pride in the view.
But all wasn’t well, far from it.
After some time, another figure joined Dick at his side: Betty Kane. On leave from the covert UN task force the Blackhawks, Betty was slowly getting more comfortable back at Wayne Manor, having previously never turned back after Bruce fired her as Batgirl years ago. She had returned to support Kate, her cousin, upon learning she was operating as Batwoman, and had stayed longer following the tragedy that befell Detective Sawyer. Now, with Penguin behind bars, but Black Spider still out there, how long Betty would remain in Gotham was unclear.
“How are you holding up?” Betty stood by Dick’s side. They were kids when they dated, not even close to old enough to know what love was, but after Betty had left his life so suddenly, having her back made Dick realise how much he had felt her absence in the intervening years.
“I’m not sure how to feel, to be honest,” Dick spoke, exasperated. In the back of his mind, he was frustrated, angry, but he knew better than to blame Stephanie for thinking something was amiss. “What do you think of her?”
“The girl’s a snot-nosed bitch,” Betty replied plainly, pulling her black jacket tight to combat the crisp wind. “And she doesn’t know how lucky she is.”
“No,” Dick shook his head, correcting her. “Stephanie knows exactly how lucky she is. That’s the problem: It’s too good to be true.” Dick stopped and looked at Betty. He thought back to the days when he first arrived at Wayne Manor, fresh off the death of his parents. “When Bruce took me in… I didn’t get it. Bruce Wayne was a playboy, the most eligible bachelor in the city, in the prime of his life. Why would he adopt a kid, especially one from a travelling circus? All the tabloids figured a kid would get in the way of his lifestyle, and it did.”
“So that’s what you’re doing then?” Betty prodded him. “Scouting a new Robin from the local orphanage?”
“No, no,” Dick protested. “Bruce didn’t even adopt me to make me his sidekick. That was my choice. I snuck out of the house at nights by myself to hunt for justice for my parents, to find Tony Zucco. Nearly got myself killed until Batman swooped in and stopped me. Then Bruce told me the truth, I think to get me to stop playing renegade. He promised to help me bring in Zucco, to make sure I was safe. Then after he was behind bars, Bruce agreed to train me… and I took the oath.”
“The whole handle thing?” Betty asked. “’I swear to fight against crime and corruption’ and all that? Bruce had me take that oath too.”
“In the earliest days, before I knew Bruce’s secret, God, the manor was pretty much empty most nights,” Dick continued. “Bruce Wayne was hardly an attentive parent, and I figured he was off at some nightclub every night. Then, I really didn’t get it. Why adopt a kid if you weren’t gonna spend any time with him?
“No wonder the tabloids speculated,” Betty replied.
“At least Stephanie will have no shortage of company.”
“Sure, except for when there’s a late night whole family excursion,” Betty rolled her eyes.
Dick squirmed where he stood. “Look, I know it’s not perfect, but I promised her father she’d be looked after, kept safe. I can’t break that promise.”
Betty stirred as Dick glanced off. Slowly, she placed a hand on his shoulder. Dick had always been mature beyond his years, even as a child crimefighter in green, scaly shorts. It gave him wisdom and stability, a reason Betty was attracted to him in her youth, but it also gave him a heavy burden. “Maybe… it’d be easier to give Stephanie what she needs if… there’s more adults around the house than just you and Alfred. Adults that don’t wear capes.”
Dick turned back to her, surprised. He always assumed she held some resentment for Dick, as many seemed to do, because Bruce pushed her out and kept him close. Apparently, he was wrong. “I… No, you have the Blackhawks, that’s a lot of responsibility.”
“And I’ve been saving my vacation days,” Betty grinned, inching closer. “It’s important work, but it’s lonely work. Besides… it’s not a full time job anyway.” Dick stared into her gleaming blue eyes. “Lots of downtime…”
Dick pulled himself back and back to task. This wasn’t about him or his happiness. “I didn’t trust Bruce until I knew who he really was,” he spoke. Betty frowned softly and stepped back, slightly embarrassed. Dick continued, “I tried to run away more times than I could count. We can only expect the same from Stephanie unless we’re honest.”
“Well…” Betty replied, still recovering, “You can’t tell Stephanie the truth unless you’re ready for her to demand a cape and a mask and some help getting her revenge. Look where it got you and Jason, and me with my aunt Kathy.”
Dick shook his head. “No, we already brought Penguin to justice.”
“That doesn’t mean she isn’t angry.”

Councilwoman Noctua’s newest gathering was a splendid event, marked by the jewels on women's necks, the glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and the waiters milling about, serving drinks to all who attended the gathering. Noctua herself walked amongst her privileged guests, flanked by her bodyguard as she conversed with her esteemed peers, jubilating in her accomplishments and reveling in the self-indulgent circlejerk of rich men and women complimenting each other.
Kate had seen it all before, and she’d rather not stake this kind of party out from the inside again.
Anchored to the side of the tower and listening in on the party, Batwoman peered in from the outside, keeping an eye on the bodyguard she had recognised and photographed at the last election event. His general build and posture were similar to the assassin Black Spider, too similar for her to ignore. If this guy really was the one who hurt Maggie, then she had to find out for sure. Watching him mill about next to Noctua, she noticed his hand drifting down into his pocket, slipping his phone out as he glanced at the screen. Raising an eyebrow, the bodyguard leaned into Noctua’s ear, whispering something to her before she nodded in response. Breaking off from his client, the bodyguard shuffled out to a lonely balcony separate from the party, where Kate could hear him more clearly.
Pulling out his phone, the bodyguard dialed a number before bringing it up to his ear, letting it ring for a few seconds before someone answered.
“You wanted to talk?” said the bodyguard, seemingly listening to the person on the other end, “No I just… I thought you were still out of the country. Tonight? That’s...a good time. Meet me at my safehouse, Ellen Street, apartment complex across from the pizza place, Room 12. I’ll be there once this gala’s over.”
Hanging up, the bodyguard returned to the party, leaving Kate with a new place to go. Turning her head outward towards the dark and stormy clouds forming over the city, Kate decided knew exactly what to do next. Spreading her cape, Kate leapt from the building and glided further into the heart of the city.
She’d find out who this guy was, for Maggie.

Stephanie continued unpacking her clothes from the large suitcase that lay flat on her new bed. That was all she had to call her own, shirts, hoodies, jeans and shorts. That was the way of the poorest of Gotham; they didn’t have the luxury of having possessions. But that was about to change. Stephanie looked about the room the butler had led her to: newly renovated, a queen-sized bed, curtains adorned with excessive intricacies, a large wooden dresser and a looming wardrobe. And while Stephanie had never been the criminal her father was, she couldn’t help but pace the room and price up everything that wasn’t bolted down. She had entered a new life: one of luxury, of having all of her needs met. But why?
She hadn’t done anything to earn this, she hadn’t clawed her way out of her circumstances tooth and nail, she had been arbitrarily plucked out of poverty. To many it would have been a dream come true, but Stephanie knew better than to blindly accept suspicious happenings in Gotham City. So her dad had gotten himself killed helping the police take down the Penguin? Did his death mean she’d earned a ticket to the upper echelon? Or was it - like Stephanie had accused - a circus act like the one Dick Grayson grew up in, meant to distract the media from the Wayne family’s dodgy dealings?
As Stephanie spiralled, she heard a soft knock at the door. She stopped, hooking a clothes hanger into the towering wardrobe, and looked to the door. She said nothing but the door inched open anyway. In crept Helena Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s biological child, born into this life. That meant that, of all of the frauds that had greeted Stephanie, Helena could relate to her the least.
“Hey, do you… need any help unpacking?” Helena spoke. The look of anger and vitriol from her face earlier was washed away. She now only looked nervous.
“The butler’s been more than enough help,” Stephanie replied.
“His name’s Alfred, but… yeah,” said Helena, moving beyond the door and into the room. “Well, do you want to talk?”
Stephanie scoffed and threw herself down onto the bed, sitting on its cushioned edge. With a sarcastic grin, she patted the space beside her. “Well, sure! I’d be thrilled to play sisters!”
Instantly, Helena snapped, and her look of exasperated disdain was back. “Look, Dick actually wants to help you. We all do. But it’ll be a lot harder on all of us if you put so much energy into--” Helena caught herself with a deep breath, but the damage was done.
Stephanie cocked her head. “Into what? Into being a bitch?” Stephanie stared Helena down, who had no response. “You don’t want to help me. You want to help yourselves just as much as I want to help myself. Just as my dad wanted to help himself and not me with all his shady business.”
“That’s not true.”
“You act like it’s noble, but I know it costs you peanuts to take me in,” Stephanie frowned, standing up from the bed. “And you get more than your money’s worth in good PR out of it.”
“I don’t care about how the media sees me,” Helena shook her head. “I’ve grown up under public scrutiny, I’ve dealt with worse.”
“Have you? Seems to me that you care an awful lot about how they see your pop, Bruce Wayne.” Stephanie stepped forward. “You all lied about his death to protect the company, and you only came clean when his reputation was at stake. I do watch the news, everyone’s thinking it.”
Helena dug her heels in. Stephanie was scared and angry about things she couldn’t control, Helena knew this. She wasn’t going to give her the fight she was spoiling for. “Sure,” she said plainly, a tear welling in her eye. “And now he’s dead. So us taking care of your ungrateful ass won’t do much for him now, will it?”
And with those words, Helena stormed out, leaving the door ajar behind her.
Stephanie went to take a deep breath as her adrenaline pumped, but it wasn’t enough. Instead, she went back to the bed and threw her fists down, digging them into the comforter. She wanted nothing more to cry, but she still hadn’t been able to since she watched her dad die. She grabbed the pillow and pulled it close, pressing her nose deep into it, and screamed a muffled scream.
Moments later, another voice sounded. A young man. “Everything okay?”
Stephanie threw herself to her feet and whipped around to face Jason Todd. She was in no mood. “You guys formed a line out there!?”
Jason bowed his head. “No, I’m sorry. Helena can be a bit of a princess sometimes.”
His face was soft, framed by his dark auburn hair. He was muscular, more so than DIck and approaching a similar height too. If it weren’t for his baby face, Stephanie would have a hard time believing Jason was so much younger than Dick. And, faced with Jason’s comment on Helena, Stephanie couldn’t help but laugh. “Are you kidding? I was a total bitch to her just now.”
“Yeah,” Jason shrugged. “And I’d be the same in your shoes. I was.
Stephanie said nothing but cocked her head slightly.
“Bruce adopted me right as Dick was getting ready to go off to college,” Jason explained. “He took me in off the streets, gave me everything I could ever want, and I still couldn’t help but feel like I was just Dick Grayson’s replacement.”
“Your parents were dead acrobats too?”
“If they were, they did a good job of hiding it,” Jason stifled a laugh. “Your dad worked for Penguin? Mine worked for Two-Face. Ended up getting him killed too, along with my mom and my sister. I got out.”
Now Stephanie felt like an asshole. “I’m… sorry.”
“It’s okay,” Jason smiled heavily. “It was years ago. And I have these guys now, for better and for worse.”
Stephanie smiled. “So you’re saying I better start worrying if I find out you’re off to college soon, then?” she joked.
Jason edged further into the room. “Oh, I can promise you I am not, despite everything pressuring me to. I’ve got a good enough career path laid out for me here in Gotham, where I am now.”
Stephanie softened slightly for the first time since she had arrived. “Well, unlike everyone else, I hope you do stick around. You’ll make all of this way more bearable.”
“I’m glad,” Jason nodded. Then, he turned and moved to leave, wrapping his hand around the inside edge of the door. But he stopped and turned back for a moment. “Please just… give them a chance. They’re a lot, but they’re good people.”
Jason went to leave again, but Stephanie this time stopped him. “To be clear, I’m not into the whole ‘technically we’re not biological’ situation.”
Instantly, Jason recoiled and leapt back. “God, no! You’re - what - sixteen?” He grinned. “You’re far too young for me, little sis.”
Stephanie laughed, relieved to have that one cleared up.
Jason stood in the doorway, ready to leave her alone with her thoughts. “And don’t be late for dinner. I worked really hard on it.”

Lighting arced across the sky, quickly followed by a clap of thunder as Batwoman crouched on a ratty, dirty rooftop, the rain wetting the hair beneath her red wig while running down the sides of her mask. Kate shivered, the icy water pattering against her suit and making everything colder. She could have been inside, sipping some hot cocoa with Maggie, but instead she was freezing her ass off outside, a pair of binoculars glued to her eyes as she staked out the apartment Noctua’s bodyguard had mentioned.
If she was right about this, then she would know for sure that the man at Noctua’s side was Black Spider, whether Noctua was in league with the Penguin, and from there she could bring the bastard to justice.
Seeing that the apartment was indeed empty, Kate clipped the binoculars to her belt, clasped both sides of her cape and made a leap off the rooftop, slowly gliding downward towards the roof of the apartment building before finally touching down in front of a skylight leading inside. Kate slipped her left hand into her right glove, pulling out an electronic lockpick. Kate dismantled the lock and pried open the window, careful as to not let too much of the rain get into the apartment as she slipped inside, and closed it behind her. She leapt down to the ground floor, landing with a soft pap.
Standing up straight, Kate scanned her surroundings.. A spartan kitchen sat in the corner of the room, built with wooden cabinets and a granite countertop. A single mattress was stuffed into another corner of the room next to a window, resting on a cheap metal bed frame, with no blankets or bed sheets. A small TV sat on a stack of boxes by the wall nearest the front door leading, flanked by a rug laid neatly across the middle of the floor. The apartment was small and bare.
Kate furrowed her brows, eyeing each part of the room while attempting to deduce where a mercenary would hide his gear. Underneath the bed was an obvious choice, so Kate skulked over to the bed frame, crouching to peer underneath.
Nothing but dust and a few books.
This was to be expected; a seasoned operative like Black Spider wouldn’t put his gear in a place so easy to find. Instead, he’d likely put it behind a few layers of obstacles. Turning her attention towards the rug, Kate knelt down, placing her hand on its hand-woven fabric. Her old squadmate Leo liked to hide cigarettes underneath their bunk room’s rug, placing a few packs in a compartment between the floorboards hidden beneath. Kate gripped the side of the rug hard, tossing it aside and inspecting what was beneath it.
Bingo.
The trapdoor wasn’t as obvious as the one back at her bunk, but the marked absence of the dust that littered the rest of the apartment gave it away. Kate slid her fingers underneath the hidden latch and lifted to reveal a small black compartment. A black-and-purple suit with ruby goggles sat neatly folded. This was Black Spider’s suit, and now she knew for certain that this entire apartment was that bastard's base of operations.
Suddenly, the sound of keys jangled from behind the door: someone was trying to get in. Quickly throwing the trapdoor back down and flipping the rug back into place, Kate used the bed as a launchpad to leap back onto the skylight, pulling herself up before handing off of the inside of the window. Glancing downward, a conversation could be heard as Noctua’s bodyguard walked into the apartment with a taller man with a cracked face and long grey hair.
“I don’t mean to be rude, Father, but…” said the bodyguard, now confirmed as the assassin Black Spider, “I just wasn’t expecting you.”
“I was passing through, Johnny, still set on my search for any remnants of the bloodline, but I’ve come up with nothing.” said the older man, a clear authority infused with his voice. From above, Kate searched the man’s face the best she could for any recognition, hoping it would aid in Betty’s investigation into Black Spider’s allies, but he truly seemed to be a stranger. “I trust you’ve been doing an effective job?”
“Yes, Father!” said Black Spider, “I’ve been performing to the best of my abilities.”
The older man nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer, “That’s good, I’m sure you’re doing a fine job, Johnny.”
“Thank you, Father.” the assassin replied, rubbing the back of his head. “I’m sorry to hear your latest search for the remainders came up empty.”
“It is what it is. Perhaps there are none left alive,” said the older man, “Perhaps we did too good a job before. The search has turned up only old bones and relics, nothing concrete. Figuring I’d run out of leads, I decided to return to Gotham. I felt it would be good to receive your mission report in person this time.”
“Right,” said Spider, quickly tightening his tie, “Ask away and I’ll answer.”
Kate pondered the conversation happening below her, especially the part about a bloodline. Was this the mission of the hidden conspiracy Betty had spoken of? From the looks of it, this was about more than money, judging from the older man’s affection for the assassin, and the method by which Black Spider addressed him.
“The al Ghul child?” asked the older man.
“Not in Gotham, but he passed through.” Black Spider answered.
“And Jason Todd?”
"He still doesn't know his true heritage. Sister's still out of the picture. He thinks she's dead."
“The UN Agent?”
“Here in the city, much to my surprise. But none the wiser to anything, including what my business is in Gotham.”
“And Grayson?”
"Exposed. New daddy’s dead. Police partner's out of commission. Now he's saddled with another stray. Plus the city's turning against the whole family."
“And what about your sister?”
“Nothing. She can’t be in Gotham, I searched hard enough. I was hoping you’d find her.”
The older man sighed, walking up to Black Spider and placing his hand on the assassin’s shoulder, “I’ve had no luck in that area either, but still, I’m proud of the work you’ve been doing while I’ve been gone, and I’m very happy to have you back into the fold. I hope that, in the future, I can entrust you with even more responsibility.”
Black Spider seemed to tremble a little in reverence to the older man, his breath shaky as he nodded, “Thank you, Father. It’s my greatest wish to earn your appreciation.”
The older man pulled the plainclothes assassin into a brief but tight embrace for a few moments, smiling as he did. Kate listened keenly and heard the man whisper in his son’s ear. “You are doing great work, son.” Then, the older man let go and moved back. He checked his wristwatch and frowned, “I have something coming up, we’ll have to finish this later. Stay out of trouble.”
“Yes, Father,” said Black Spider, watching as the older man turned around and left the apartment, leaving him and a surprised Kate in the room. Kate kept her grip, placing her hand on the glass pane to slip back out again. While this would be the good moment to ambush Black Spider, he was a metahuman assassin, and he was more than a match for Kate, Betty and Helena together when last they fought. Kate needed a better opportunity, a trap of some kind. But now she knew where to find him, Kate only had to retreat to her apartment and come up with a more concrete plan.
Moving towards the pane, Kate was about halfway through when lightning struck once again, igniting the night sky with bright light. As the light hit Kate, it cast a shadow through the skylight, a shadow that appeared right in front of the assassin. Seeing her figure against the bright light, Black Spider whirled around to find Batwoman quickly rolling out of the window, the pane slamming shut behind her.
Tumbling onto the rain soaked rooftop, Kate began to make a run for the edge, her hand drifting over her grapnel gun. As she got closer, the sound of glass shattering reached her ears as a metallic web shot up the side of the building, latching onto the edge and prompting Kate to slide to a stop. A hand flew up to grab the edge, and Black Spider clambered onto the roof, having quickly donned his wrist gauntlets. Standing up straight, he glared at her with rage-fueled eyes and threw himself at the heroine, unleashing a flurry of quick and precise strikes on her.
As good as Kate was, she wasn’t quite as good as Black Spider. Despite her best efforts to block his attacks, Black Spider still got enough hits in. He threw a palm strike, hitting her square in the jaw and crashing her teeth together. As she instinctively raised her arms to protect her face, the assassin threw another punch at her side, cracking her ribs with a single move. Kate swung her head into his, cracking him right in the nose and causing him to stumble back as she shuffled away, clutching her side.
Tasting blood in her mouth, Kate wiped her lips. Black Spider shook his head before making a charge for Kate again. Realizing she had to end this in one single motion if she wanted to get away, Kate planted her feet, waiting in anticipation with arms raised as Black Spider jumped at her, catching her in the chest with a flying kick. Having braced in advance for an attack like this, Kate smiled through crimson stained teeth and grabbed hold of his leg, using both her body weight and the momentum of his attack to pivot them both, swinging him with all her might before letting go, sending Black Spider sailing down into the skylight, destroying the panes as he fell back into his apartment.
Kate limped to the edge of the rooftop with haste, spreading her cape before pushing off of the building and gliding away as fast as the wind could take her. Feeling herself falter, Kate angled herself to fly into a nearby alley before her grip on her cape loosened, her muscles weak and aching. She plummeted, colliding with the concrete and cracking her mask. Groaning, Kate dragged herself up the nearest wall and forced herself to walk down the way. Confident that the assassin couldn’t follow her after pushing off from the roof, she stumbled out of the alley, electing to return to her apartment to recover. He had bested her for now, but now she knew where he lived, and Black Spider was going down.

2020.08.17 08:26 Worm2120 A complete timeline of relevant events on 09/11/2001.

Lets see if this post gets buried and downvoted instantly like my last post.
V: A building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world.

years leading up to 09/11/2001:
MILITARY SIMULATIONS AND TRAININGS:
-1991: White House Is Protected From Airplane Attack During Gulf War
While a battery of surface-to-air-missiles remains permanently on the roof of the White House, the rest of these defenses are apparently removed after the war is over. Yet even though counterterrorism officials later call the alerts in the summer of 2001 “the most urgent in decades,” similar defensive measures will apparently not be taken.
- 1998: Training Exercise Held at the White House, Based Around Militants Using a Plane as a Weapon
Counterterrorism “tsar” Richard Clarke chairs a tabletop exercise at the White House, involving a scenario where anti-American militants fill a Learjet with explosives, and then fly it on a suicide mission toward a target in Washington, DC. Officials from the Pentagon, Secret Service, and FAA attend, and are asked how they would stop such a threat. Pentagon officials say they could launch fighters from Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, but would need authorization from the president to shoot the plane down, and currently there is no system to do this. The 9/11 Commission later states: “There was no clear resolution of the problem at the exercise.”
- 1999-September 11, 2001: NORAD Exercise Simulates Crashes into US Buildings; One of Them Is the World Trade Center
One of these imagined targets is the World Trade Center. According to NORAD, these scenarios are regional drills, rather than regularly scheduled continent-wide exercises. They utilize “[n]umerous types of civilian and military aircraft” as mock hijacked aircraft, and test “track detection and identification; scramble and interception; hijack procedures; internal and external agency coordination; and operational security and communications security procedures.” The main difference between these drills and the 9/11 attacks is that the planes in the drills are coming from another country, rather than from within the US. Before 9/11, NORAD reportedly conducts four major exercises at headquarters level per year. Most of them are said to include a hijack scenario.
- Between October 24 and 28, 2000: Military Holds Exercise Rehearsing Response to a Plane Crash at the Pentagon
Pentagon and Arlington County emergency responders assemble in the office of the Secretary of Defenses conference room in the Pentagon for a mass casualty exercise (“MASCAL”). The exercise involves three mock-scenarios. One is of a commercial airliner crashing into the Pentagon and killing 342 people, while the other two involve a terrorist attack at the Pentagons subway stop and a construction accident. The exercises are conducted using a large-scale model of the Pentagon with a model airplane literally on fire in the central courtyard of the building. An Army medic who participates in the mock attack calls it “a real good scenario and one that could happen easily,” while a fire chief notes: “You have to plan for this. Look at all the air traffic around here.”
- May 2001: Medics Train for Airplane Hitting Pentagon
The Tri-Service DiLorenzo Health Care Clinic and the Air Force Flight Medicine Clinic, both housed within the Pentagon, train for a scenario involving a hijacked 757 airliner being crashed into the Pentagon. It is reported that the purpose of the training is “to fine-tune their emergency preparedness.”
- April 17-26, 2001: Joint Chiefs of Staff Holds Exercise for Continuity of Government if US is Attacked; Proposal to Simulate Airliner Crash into Pentagon Rejected
The Joint Chiefs of Staff holds a large, worldwide exercise called Positive Force, which focuses on the Defense Department's ability to conduct large-scale military operations and coordinate these operations. The 2001 Positive Force exercise is a “continuity of operations exercise,” meaning it deals with government contingency plans to keep working in the event of an attack on the US. Over a dozen government agencies, including NORAD, are invited to participate. The exercise prepares them for various scenarios, including non-combatant evacuation operations, cyber attacks, rail disruption, and power outages. Apparently, one of the scenarios that was considered for this exercise involved “a terrorist group hijack[ing] a commercial airliner and fly[ing] it into the Pentagon.” But the proposed scenario, thought up by a group of Special Operations personnel trained to think like terrorists, was rejected. Joint Staff action officers and White House officials said the additional scenario is either “too unrealistic” or too disconnected to the original intent of the exercise.
- June 1-2, 2001: Military Conducts Exercises Based on Scenario in which Cruise Missiles Are Launched against US
Bin Laden is pictured on the cover of the first Amalgam Virgo exercise. 📷 The US military conducts Amalgam Virgo 01, a multi-agency planning exercise sponsored by NORAD involving the hypothetical scenario of a cruise missile being launched by “a rogue [government] or somebody” from a barge off the East Coast. Bin Laden is pictured on the cover of the proposal for the exercise. The exercise takes place at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. The next Amalgam Virgo exercise, scheduled to take place the following year, will involve two simultaneous commercial aircraft hijackings. Planning for the exercises begins before 9/11.

- Early August 2001: Mass Casualty Exercise at the Pentagon Includes a Plane Hitting the Building
A mass casualty exercise, involving a practice evacuation, is held at the Pentagon. General Lance Lord of US Air Force Space Command, one of the participants in the exercises, later recalls: “[It was] purely a coincidence, the scenario for that exercise included a plane hitting the building.” Lord will also say that on 9/11, “our assembly points were fresh in our minds” thanks to this practice. People and organizations involved: Lance Lord

Did you catch that? re-read the above bold statement. There are no coincidences.

WARNING SIGNS AND PROOF OF NEGLIGENCE:
Every event that took place before 9/11 COULD be considered a coincidence by almost all people who believe the MSM narrative of 9/11. Therefore, I will mostly be focusing on a classified (at the time) military intelligence task force known as Able Danger.
Able Danger was a data mining software started by LIWA after finding a large presence of Chinese corporations fronting as US companies to mine data inside the US and gain intel. Able Danger was the United States counter to this Chinese data mining issue.
In the fall of 1999, Able Danger was officially created to gain information on Al-Qaeda on the orders of 4 star General Peter Schoomaker and Hugh Shelton, leader of SOCOM.
Using computers, the unit collects huge amounts of data in a technique called “data mining.” They get information from such sources as al-Qaeda Internet chat rooms, news accounts, web sites, and financial records. Using sophisticated software, they compare this with government records such as visa applications by foreign tourists, to find any correlations and depict these visually.

January-May 2000: CIA Has Atta Under Surveillance

Hijacker Mohamed Atta is put under surveillance by the CIA while living in Germany. [Berliner Zeitung, 9/24/01; Focus, 9/24/01; Agence France-Presse, 9/22/01] He is “reportedly observed buying large quantities of chemicals in Frankfurt, apparently for the production of explosives [and/or] for biological warfare.” “The US agents reported to have trailed Atta are said to have failed to inform the German authorities about their investigation,” even as the Germans are investigating many of his associates. “The disclosure that Atta was being trailed by police long before 11 September raises the question why the attacks could not have been prevented with the man's arrest.” [Observer, 9/30/01] A German newspaper adds that Atta is able to get a visa into the US on May 18. According to some reports, the surveillance stops when he leaves for the US at the start of June. However, “experts believe that the suspect [remains] under surveillance in the United States.” [Berliner Zeitung, 9/24/01] A German intelligence official also states, “We can no longer exclude the possibility that the Americans wanted to keep an eye on Atta after his entry in the US” [Focus, 9/24/01] This correlates with a Newsweek claim that US officials knew Atta was a “known [associate] of Islamic terrorists well before [9/11].” [Newsweek, 9/20/01] However, a congressional inquiry later reports that the US “intelligence community possessed no intelligence or law enforcement information linking 16 of the 19 hijackers [including Atta] to terrorism or terrorist groups.” [9/11 Congressional Inquiry, 9/20/02] In 2005, after accounts of the Able Danger program learning Atta's name become news, newspaper account will neglect to mention this prior report about Atta being known by US intelligence. For instance, the New York Times will report, “The account [about Able Danger] is the first assertion that Mr. Atta, an Egyptian who became the lead hijacker in the plot, was identified by any American government agency as a potential threat before the Sept. 11 attacks” (see August 9, 2005) . [New York Times, 8/9/05]

January-February 2000: Secret Military Unit Identifies al-Qaeda ‘Brooklyn’ Cell; Mohamed Atta is a Member

Its clear by now that Able Danger has Identified an immense amount of data on the future hijackers living in New York, over a year before the attacks and after being seen purchasing chemicals for chemical warefare.

April 2000: LIWA and Able Danger Face Trouble After LIWA Connects Prominent US Figures to Chinese Military

A 1999 study by the US Army's Land Information Warfare Activity (LIWA) to look into possible Chinese front companies in the US seeking technology for the Chinese military created controversy and was ordered destroyed in November 1999 (see Mid-1999-November 1999). However, apparently Rep. Curt Weldon (R) protests, and the issue finally comes to a head during this month. One result of this controversy will be what Maj. Erik Kleinsmith will later call “severely restricted” support for Able Danger, including a temporary end to LIWA support (see April 2000) In an April 14, 2000 memorandum from the legal counsel in the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Capt. Michael Lohr writes that the concern over the LIWA data mining study raises privacy concerns: “Preliminary review of subject methodology raised the possibility that LIWA ‘data mining’ would potentially access both foreign intelligence (FI) information and domestic information relating to US citizens (i.e. law enforcement, tax, customs, immigration, etc... ... I recognize that an argument can be made that LIWA is not ‘collecting’ in the strict sense (i.e. they are accessing public areas of the Internet and non-FI federal government databases of already lawfully collected information). This effort would, however, have the potential to pull together into a single database a wealth of privacy-protected US citizen information in a more sweeping and exhaustive manner than was previously contemplated.” Additionally, the content of the study is another reason why it caused what Weldon calls a “wave of controversy.” The study had connected future National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Defense Secretary William Perry, and other prominent US citizens to business transactions with Chinese military officials.(see Mid-1999-November 1999). [Washington Times, 10/9/05; Washington Times, 9/22/05; New York Post, 8/27/05; Curt Weldon Press Conference, 9/17/05; Erik Kleinsmith Statement, 9/21/05] One article on the subject will comment, “Sources familiar with Able Danger say the project was shut down because it could have led to the exposure of a separate secret data mining project focusing on US citizens allegedly transferring super-sensitive US technology illegally to the Chinese government.” [WTOP, 9/1/05] A massive destruction of data from Able Danger and LIWA's data mining efforts will follow, one month later (see May-June 2000).

May-June 2000: Army Officer Told to Destroy Able Danger Documents

Maj. Eric Kleinsmith, chief of intelligence for the Land Information Warfare Activity (LIWA) unit, is ordered to destroy data and documents related to a military intelligence program set up to gather information about al-Qaeda. The program, called Able Danger, has identified Mohamed Atta and three other future hijackers as potential threats (see January-February 2000). According to Kleinsmith, by April 2000 it has collected “an immense amount of data for analysis that allowed us to map al-Qaeda as a worldwide threat with a surprisingly significant presence within the United States.”
The representative also acknowledges that regulations would have probably allowed the Able Danger information to be shared with law enforcement agencies before its destruction. Asked why this was not done, he responds, “I can't tell you.” [CNET News, 9/21/05] The order to destroy the data and documents is given to Kleinsmith by Army Intelligence and Security Command General Counsel Tony Gentry, who jokingly tells him, “Remember to delete the data—or you'll go to jail.” [Government Executive, 9/21/05] The quantity of information destroyed is later described as “2.5 terabytes,” about as much as one-fourth of all the printed materials in the Library of Congress. [Associated Press, 9/16/05] Other records associated with the unit are allegedly destroyed in March 2001 and spring 2004
i MEAN WHAT MORE INFO DO WE NEED????
2.5 TERABYTES IN THE YEAR 2000. The amount of data that was destroyed... and of course it was just a joke, but Kleinsmith was told hed be fired if he didnt destroy all of it.
Okay now I could speculate for hours and hours on the amount of foreknowledge but i'd like to move to another section of our story:

(6:00 a.m.): Bush Interview or Assassination Attempt?

President Bush has just spent the night at Colony Beach and Tennis Resort on Longboat Key, Florida. Surface-to-air missiles have been placed on the roof of the resort (it is not known if this was typical of presidential security before 9/11, or if this was related to increased terror warnings). [Sarasota Herald-Tribune, 9/10/02] Bush wakes up around 6:00 a.m. and is preparing for his morning jog. [MSNBC, 10/27/02; Daily Telegraph, 12/16/01; New York Times, 9/16/01 (B)] A van occupied by men of Middle Eastern descent arrives at the Colony Beach Resort, stating they have a “poolside” interview with the president. They do not have an appointment and they are turned away. [Longboat Observer, 9/26/01] Some question whether this was an assassination attempt modeled on the one used on Afghan leader Ahmed Massoud two days earlier (see September 9, 2001). [Time, 8/4/02 (B)] Longboat Key Fire Marshal Carroll Mooneyhan was reported to have overheard the conversation between the men and the Secret Service, but he later denies the report. The newspaper that reported this, the Longboat Observer stands by its story. [St. Petersburg Times, 7/4/04] Witnesses recall seeing Mohamed Atta in the Longboat Key Holiday Inn a short distance from where Bush was staying as recently as September 7, the day Bush's Sarasota appearance was publicly announced.
Why would a van of middle eastern men want to meet with bush on this particular morning... when bush has increased security for no reason...
(6:30 a.m.): NORAD on Alert for Emergency Exercises
Lieutenant Colonel Dawne Deskins, regional mission control chief, begins a large scale exercise known as: Vigilant Guardian. -THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN GLOBAL GUARDIAN WHICH IS ANOTHER EXERCISE I WILL COVER SHORTLY-
In contrast to the 9/11 Commission Report - Michael Ruppert has characterized Vigilant Guardian as "a hijacking drill, not a cold war exercise". He cites direct quotes from participants which indicate "that the drill involved hijacked airliners rather than Russian Bombers". General Arnold, Tech. Sgt. W. Powel and Lt. Col. Dwane Deskins have stated that when they first were informed about hijacked airliners they thought it was "part of the exercise".[1]

(6:45 a.m.)

“Approximately two hours prior to the first attack”, at least two workers at the instant messaging company Odigo receive messages warning of the WTC attack. This Israeli owned company has its headquarters two blocks from the WTC.
(6:47 A.M.) Fire alarms in WTC 7 placed to "test mode".
While these extra security measures were being implemented, another anomalous event occurred at WTC 7, a 47-story office building located 370 feet north of the North Tower. Specifically, every morning for the seven days before September 11, the building's fire alarm system was placed on "test condition." On September 11, it was again put on test condition, at 6:47 a.m., and only returned to normal monitoring, automatically, eight hours later, at 2:47 p.m.
Around 8 A.M. "Dancing Israelis" First seen in New Jersey Parking lot
The five men were detained by Sergeant Scott DeCarlo of the New Jersey Police Department around 4pm on September 11th.[7]. The police and FBI field agents became suspicious when they found maps of the city with certain places highlighted, box cutters (the same items that the 19 hijackers supposedly used), $4,700 cash stuffed in a sock, and foreign passports. Police also told a New Jersey local paper, The Bergen Record, that bomb sniffing dogs were brought to the van and that they reacted as if they had smelled explosives. According to the Jewish Weekly Forward the FBI later determined that at least two of the Israelis (Sivan Kurzberg and Paul Kurzberg) were agents of the Mossad.[8][9]

(After 8:37 a.m.)

NORAD gives the command to scramble fighters after Flight 11 after being notified (see (8:37 a.m.)). Lt. Colonel Dawne Deskins at NEADS tells Colonel Robert Marr, head of NEADS, “I have FAA on the phone, the shout line, Boston Center. They said they have a hijacked aircraft.” Marr then calls Major General Larry Arnold at NORAD's command Center in Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, and says, “Boss, I need to scramble [fighters at] Otis [Air National Guard Base].” Arnold recalls, “I said go ahead and scramble them, and we'll get the authorities later.” Arnold then calls NORAD headquarters to report. [ABC News, 9/11/02, Independent Commission Report, 6/17/04] Then, seeing the proper authorization, NEADS calls Canadian Captain Mike Jellinek at NORAD's Colorado headquarters. Jellinek is sitting near Canadian Air Force Major General Rick Findley, director of combat operations there. Findley's staff is “already on high alert” because of a joint US-Canada exercise known as Vigilant Guardian (see (6:30 a.m.)), and another joint exercise known as Operation Northern Vigilance (see (9:00 a.m.))

MAN WHAT A COINCIDINKLE THAT ALL MAJOR US MILITARY BRANCHES ARE ENGAGED IN SIMULATIONS THAT INVOLVE HIJACKED AIRPLANES ON THIS MORNING HUH???!?!!?

The Icing on the cake: 5 israeli men arrested with a van packed with explosives on George Washington bridge.
This event has nearly been memory-holed from the population. And I deem it my responsibility to remind the population what happened on this horrific day.
CNN video of reporting.
ABC report as well
Anyway, all reports have the same story: 2-3 men being arrested on the George Washington bridge PACKED with explosives. Reports state that amount of explosives could've "done severe damage to the bridge". Now I cant find a source for what was said after the Israeli men were arrested, but I can remember from memory what was said, i'd love if someone can confirm my picture perfect memory correct on this:
"We are not the enemy. The Palestinians are the problem. We are your friends."
something along those lines were said to the arresting officer. In FOIA requests of this event, it has been deemed "Top Secret".

Other interesting facts and videos:
3 facts that PROVE controlled demolition.
48 disturbing facts about 9/11
Very important information on WTC 7.

9/11 single handed, proves that we as the people are brainwashed into believing everything you see. This needs to be known.

One last thing...

Terror Links In Tenn. Mystery?
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Feb. 10, witnesses saw flames erupt from the back seat of a 1992 Acura Legend as it crawled along a two-lane road skirting farm fields in the little Tennessee town of Piperton.
The driver breathed in the flames, her lungs searing, as the car veered off the road and came to rest against a utility pole near the Mississippi state line. There were no skid marks or furrows in the grass to indicate the driver had hit the brakes.
A witness rushed up and pulled open the car door, but the driver was not moving. She appeared to be already dead. When the first volunteer firefighters arrived, the car was engulfed in flames.
wait for it...
Shortly after she showed up for work, a man from the Toyota, Khaled Odtllah, a native of Jerusalem, joined the morning rush into the building. According to an FBI affidavit, he was clutching four signed driver's license applications.
WAIT. FOR. IT.
With Odtllah, police found Mostafa Said Abou-Shahi, Mohammed Fares, Sakher Hammad and his cousin Abdelmuhsen Mahmid Hammad. An unnamed juvenile was also taken into custody.
A few months ago, the contets of Sakher Hammad's wallet would have seemed innocuous: Two video rental cards; two major credit cards; a card designating him a “charter member” of Team Ford Racing; a New York plumber's business card.
And a pass, dated 09/05/01 that gave him access to the lower basement of One World Trade Center.
UH OH
Authorities say Sakher Hammad told them he is plumber, and that he and his cousin were in the tower to work on the sprinkler system. New York authorities have no record of a plumber's license for either cousin.
A business card in Sakher Hammad's wallet was for a Magic Plumbing & Heating Inc. in Brooklyn. It advertises “custom kitchens, bathrooms, water heaters, boilers, repiping” - generally residential in nature.
A call to the business produced only a full voice-mailbox for someone named “Rocky.” Using a reverse telephone directory, the AP found a list of phone numbers at the company's street address, all of them for individuals, among them Sakher Hammad.

Family members have refused to talk. A wary elderly neighbor said, “I believe somebody killed her.”
Let me leave you with this thought: This woman engulfed in flames out of no where and was burned beyond recognition before the car even halted to a stop, gently I might add.
Isn't it weird that the twin towers just collapsed out of no where, with molten steel spewing for weeks to months after the attacks?
Kinda makes you wonder if those "middle eastern men" had some left over presents from their WTC visit to "fix the sprinkler system" from 09/05/2001.

Let me know if I left anything out. Honestly, I could make infinite amounts of posts about 9/11 because of the amount of info here to grasp. Yet, none of what Ive posted has been disprove yet... hmmm.
Wow I havent checked this since last night before I went to bed. Thank you so much everyone for the feedback and rewards!!(:
I love you all.
